How is the Huawei P20 Pro in 2024? Revisiting a Flagship Classic!

best bang for buck...mine has had its back panel, and just this week screen and nfc replaced because i dont what to buy a new phone...will probably hold on to it till they turn off the 4g signal...

Still using in 2025 - my favourite features alongside what you mentioned are the great IR blaster and app, the notch removal settings which makes the phone perfectly symmetrical when viewing in landscape mode - balancing with the chin at the base. Speakers also really high quality too. Also a really handy size. A little laggy now stuck on Android 10 with an EMUI 12 patch incorporated but highly usable still. Considering migration to Harmony OS if things stop working.

Huawei phones were great, funny how the same month they outsold Apple they were suddenly a "security risk" according to America. Now bounced right back in China to the point of Apple being worried enough to cut their prices in China. I had a few mid-range Huaweis and they were as good as Samsung but a lot cheaper, actually I'd say better build quality and cameras.

If you want something that is a similar experience with Google services you’ll have to go for an Honor device. The flagship Magic Pro phones are the closest you’ll get 😁

P30 Pro is the last huawei with kirin that support Google playstore till today,So it won't be a bummer for P20 Pro

@@Swooshii-u4e To be honest,both are great for that,but if you ask the best in the furthest,the longest zoom shot of course its gonna be P30 Pro between the two,P30 Pro also won in macro shot too,probably due to its hardware advantages,but in sound,listening music or watching youtube or movie,i prefer P20 Pro because it has stereo speaker
