Yeah, nightmare mode really sucks sometimes, ...this is one of those times. The vents are a worse hazard than crouch-walking the hallway, ...I know it's slower, but it's safer. At the beginning of this section, use the control panel on the wall to turn OFF the lights and "air purification" whenever possible so its all dark & foggy, then you can use objects in the hallways for temporary cover/concealment and throw distractions away from you - back towards where you came from (never throw in the direction you WANT to go, or the Alien will be waiting for you.) You WILL eventually reach your exit. Good luck, and thanks again for another upload! :)

Dude, it's horrible trying to traverse this area. Normally I avoid the vents at all costs but this area is so tight the alien comes back to check the same area for the tenth time within seconds. But to add, it seems like a scripted event or something because the alien ALWAYS enter that vent at the exact same time and exact same entrance but ONLY whenever it's sure I entered. So annoying 😭

@@googleyoflolz9930 Yes, that part absolutely IS scripted, the Dev's want an encounter in there for sure, ...I remember doing a complete GHOST run where he NEVER saw me, and yet - once i entered that exact same vent - he CHARGED at me! From vent to vent - going back and forth, ...I was climbing up and down in that vent - trying to avoid him, but the Alien was SET on getting me, charging back and forth to whichever vent I was closest to - so I HAD to roast him just to give myself some breathing room.
