Finally the microwave isn’t above the stove where it becomes inaccessible if someone is standing at the stove. The slide out pantry I guess is drawers which are fantastic to use! My elderly parents had those & I put them in our pantry in our new kitchen. Too bad about those awful valances.

We live in Spokane and nobody has one in stock. We inquired about ordering one from a local dealer who carries the Alpine line, but they stated they could not order one for us. Seems a bit strange, but we had the feeling they just wanted to sell us one from their lot so they could get rid of some inventory. Seems that most dealers have a lot of Cougar's, or Montana's, but nothing in between like the Alpine/Avalanche.
@JoshtheRVNerd11 ай бұрын
If they're a signed alpine dealer, then they CAN order one. They just may not be willing to. Which is dumb. Idea - our indiana store can get one for you and have it delivered to your home. Aftermarket shipping from indiana to you is actually less than factory shipping from indiana to your local dealer. We literally may be able to save you a few bucks by delivering it to your front door. Try contacting Shane Renna at 765-635-9380

@@JoshtheRVNerd Only problem is Josh, and you know this all too well, is that if you don't purchase your RV locally, and it needs warranty service, good luck getting it serviced in any reasonable time from a local dealer. You are put on the bottom of the list and you MIGHT see your RV again 2 or 3 months later.

It’s a slightly different living and kitchen setup. North point does a vertical pantry while many of the keystones use a lower horizontal pantry

😍😍😍 I love it! Is that big drawer in the kitchen island dishwasher prepped? Powercord Reel...👍 Bathroom Pantry...😲🥰 And, no window over the bed... 👏👏👏 I'd change the pulls to make the browns not so farmhousie and a little more modern. And, I'd change the dining and island light fixtures to something not so bare-bulb 1950's interrogation looking. And, call it good...😁 This one is now on my list...🥰

We are in the market for a new fifth wheel; we camp quite a bit so we are ready for some long stay niceties. I have been watching your videos for over a year keeping a list of likes and dislikes. I LOVE this one! The whole camper is really nice but for me the TP holder clinched the deal! Sadly I need the truck to pull this. We have a 3/4 ton so that disqualifies this one. I would add, I work remotely when we travel, it would be nice if a manufacturer could put a drop down table or something in the bedroom for remote workers. The kitchen table works great but there are times I need a door to be out of the daily noise and sitting on the bed with a laptop is not ideal. Maybe in lieu of a top drawer in the drawers at the foot of the bed somehow incorporate a desk top in the top drawer or in place of the drawer. That way it is desk level and if needed you could put a rectangle shaped stool at the base of the bed to sit on.

More mobile workstations would be nice for sure

Eliminating the schwintech slide and replacing with a cable system IS NOT an upgrade. This would keep me from buying this unit. An in floor heat vent directly where you stand while cooking?? Would like to see Goodyear or Cooper tires and for this price range I do like what Jayco is doing with the front closet, Eliminating the "walk in" closet for reach in wardrobes at the top with drawers below. Would rather have a queen bed with more functional night stands. Like this unit otherwise and very similar to what we are looking for.

Bed roller mounted to the floor, Brilliant idea. Did away with the schwinteck, 👍 I can see it got replaced with the cable slide system. ACCU or EXACT?
@JoshtheRVNerd Жыл бұрын
I think exact Usually those are used in place of schwintek while accu is used in place of rack and pinion

In the UK the max speed to tow something like this would be 50mph, I've seen things being towed faster, but it's rarely a good idea and I'd rather not be using the road at the same time as them, particularly behind them #nerdherd

Josh my little brother has a Travel Trailer that he was told is 4 season but he was told his is Rated for Michigan weather( apparently his is built for Michigan weather) He lives in the Grand Traverse, Leelanau County area, would a Travel Trailer rated for Michigan handle the Michigan winters in this case?
@JoshtheRVNerd Жыл бұрын
With no idea what he has I can’t offer much for personal insights But I’ve often said no rv is “truly four seasons” I’ve never seen a single travel trailer weather tested to handle things like the polar vortex winters we’ve had here. If something freezes up, then it doesn’t matter what he was told. He’s on the hook

at 35 feet in length. on the long side for me, but too heavy for me. no moneys to buy a 1-1/2ton diesel truck and a $100K rv. unless someone out there. will loan me $200K with a interest rate below 5%. (i do have a paid off older rv, in good shape. and still a loan on my 3/4 ton truck. but little to no cash). rv prices need to DROP a bit. maybe if the bed did not have a slide, the pin weight could be ok with a 3/4 ton? but over all this looks to be a good full timer tv. if only a money truck could lose a couple bags of money for me to pick up.

All that fancy goodness and the stove doesn't vent to the outside. Don't like the pantry is all below the counter, that's going to be a problem for folks with back or knee issues, and annoying for those that don't.
