Preston it's so nice to hear you comment on exploring lesser known tracks of bands/artists and not just focusing on the well known ones pushed as singles. It seems in modern media you see an album reviewed but then it just suggests downloading two tracks which are often the ones that are played all day on the radio. This makes people fans of tracks and not bands, which has killed the concept of fan bases getting into albums and why we are getting less and less big stadium filling rock bands. A lot of great material from bands are their album tracks, the growers which take time to explore and get into. Keep up the great work mate.

Needless to say, I had extra time on my hands after that. If it wasn't for the joy of playing my guitar, I don't know what I'd do. S&M is a horrid album, Michael Kamen's arrangements are cheap and fluffy and Metallica's live guitar sound in the 90s is flat and bland. Give this a skip.
@benrichardson73066 жыл бұрын
I don't want to be the dick that says, "Your opinion is wrong!" but I feel like someone has to counter all these suggestions for anything off S&M. As someone who studied classical music, I can say the arrangements on S&M are horrible. Just thinking about that album makes me sick. The orchestra is playing notes totally unrelated to the song. It's not Metallica with an orchestra, it's more like Metallica in the same room as an orchestra where they are both playing at the same time. It sucks that a metal band finally has the money and the clout to put this idea into practice, but then they hire a garbage arranger and produce that turd. If you want a metal band with an orchestra, try pretty much any black metal album. Yeah, it's a synth orchestra, but at least they're playing the same music. I wish Metallica had instead put up the money for Emperor to hire an orchestra. That would be brilliant. Not the Load that is Metallica's S&M.

"Some of these groups....their best songs are the ones most people aren't familiar with" So fucking true. People only hear the radio hits and think that's the bands greatest song but never dig deeper than that. There is a whole goldmine when it comes to certain bands especially Metallica. Great video man!

I think it’s time for you to listen to live videos of Metallica. You’re ready listen to creeping death or battery live in Seattle 1989, I saw them 2 weeks ago they were crazy good man. \m/ love your channel you need to see Metallica live I’m going to see Maiden in August

Once again you don't fail to deliver on yet another metallica classic. Ok as, far as I can see you've reacted to every song but the best one off of ride the lightning. I'm not even going to say the title again. You know. But do it live Moscow 91

I love this song. Used to play this on my guitar. Underrated song. Matter fact the whole album is underrated. Thrashier Metallica. Old school. I like that 2Pac song at the end, BTW.

it's not underrated, it's regarded as their best. this and puppets.

Bro pls listen to something from the best Metallica album. React to "And justice for all"or "Blackened" or "Dyer's eve" by them
@justinwalters79536 жыл бұрын
Garri Not even close to their best album. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are easily their best albums.

Justin Walters I know it's your opinion, but come on dude

I get you, bro, Justice is my favourite album, too.

@@garri5108 Most people I know agree with Justin honestly. Despite the fact that it's not their fault, the missing bass pretty much kills it.

Bryan Standfield Not loving the album because of the quiet bass is a principle. Principles don't give a look at reality soberly. For me, the quiet bass makes the album unique and its sound was very dry and aggressive

This was favorite song after Master of Puppets song when I was still a newbie to Metallica because it was so fast Great song I would never thought I'd see you playing it. Made my day bro!

Chuck Clickenger it’s crazy because I agree but I love every song😂 I feel like escape should be higher but it’s hard to put it over any other song
