I honestly never got the appeal of speed, the barking, raging and edgy humour just isn’t my style. I don’t know if I’m deeping this or not but at times Speed has felt like a modern day minstrel show to me. A black man acting like an animal or crazy so people can laugh and call him stupid just doesn’t feel right to me. Especially his racist comments, everyone is young once, not everyone is so unapologetically racist. Overall good video with fair points from either side.

This was interesting as I didn't know much about the lad. One thing that I'd be really interested in hearing your thoughts on: why have footballers embraced the `Free Agent' market? Lingard left multiple offers on the table for over 6 months. Remember too, free agents don't have to wait for a transfer window. & that should surely give him a unique appeal to prospective clubs, so why weren't there more clubs in for him?
