what he used to recreate the competitive clips is SFM, or Source Filmmaker, it's a 3D animation software that uses Source (the engine most valve games used until recently, including tf2) to render everything, it's actually pretty easy and fun to learn compared to other 3d animation software, apart form all the bugs of course, and it's naturally compatible with any models and objects from any source game, so it's pretty fun to just launch it and just mess around with

@@boxtank5288 Well it is an old un updated software that will probably never be finished, specially when s2fm is being worked on, but when all of the quirks "click" it's a pretty good animation software

When I used to play this more often, I remember having quite a few sniper duels across the map from each other. The rest of the game wasn't important, only my evil twin. Also, Kira, don't be fooled by the simple look of Minecraft. It genuinely is a fun, challenging experience! :)

They do it in a program called Source Film Maker, SFM, which is what is used in a vary large number of animation projects and things, TF2 is done in the source engine so having these models is default and he's really good at SFM

He has a video of his sanity being sapped away called 'How it FEELS to SUFFER in SFM (sp00ky)' via the program he uses know as SFM which can playback the games you play via DEMOs which are special recordings that emulates the entire match with AI bots. From here you can the animate in these emulated matches, think Post VFX in a movie I guess. One other way at that is Gmod which is a game where they use all sorts of different methods like animation frames or thousands and thousands of screenshots played and then with sounds added ontop, and they tend to be a lot less smooth but charmingly goofy.

While people have explained that he uses SFM, it’s actually worth noting that part of why it looks so much like the game is not just because it can import TF2 models and animations, but because SFM is able to take code from Source games and run part of it to simulate parts of the game, leading to the ability to recreate scenarios in game and then edit them to have more fancy animations to look better.

I saw a different person react to his videos and he seemed fine. That is, he was commentating a lot than your usual reactor person who just goes "ohh" and "aaahh" and "wow". Usually he'd connect his analysis to his military experience and stuff though sometimes it'd be a normal analysis but an analysis nonetheless. These guys however, though not really doing analysis on the same level as that guy I mentioned, I deem that they are adding to this reaction. They like to give their thoughts about the thing they are reacting to and stuff and I think that sorta fits with what you would call an actual reaction. Still, this comment should be considered just in case.

It's not a game recording, nor is it using editing software to alter how gameplay footage looks to recreate them. It's a manual reconstruction of the events.

Most likely, to make the recreations, they use in game recording called "demos". It records the whole game, and every player at the same time. And when you finish the game, you can open the demo in editing software, where you have the whole game in 3D. So you can choose any angle you want. Or they used SFM which means Source (the game engine that the game runs on) filmmaker. SFM is harder because you have to do the animation frame by frame.

There not using Adoby or something... wel maybe Lazy is but not to make it look like the game. He is using SFM the tool that valve uses to make animated shorts for TF2. Or other source engine games, i think. Well you cann use any model that uses the source engine in there. I personally hope that when there are enough Source 2 games out we get SFM 2: Electric boogaloo. Now with an actually working programm that isn't 15 years old. I would recommend watching some of the Saxxy award winners. Or the shorts from that in general. Its a yearly competition where Artists compete to see who creates the best short animated films in SFM. I would recemond you watching "Lil guardian Pyro" or if you watch something way to amazing "Agent Gunn: Vulkanite"

Hey Kira, definitely give minecraft a try, it's not the graphics that make the game fun and great, it's the fact you can do what ever you want in the game, build what you want, etc. Minecraft being the top selling game of all time is because of the freedom to simply do what you want, which plays into it's simplistic look. Remember, graphics and image quality does not make a game great unless you're playing something that's only meant to be explored. The gameplay is what makes a game :)

Considering that DC constantly shoots itself in both legs with a WOKE grenade launcher... You know it ain't very fair competition when your rival has at the moment severe mental illness and needs treatment - instead of attempts to win sales race. If both series were going strong - yeah "Finally a worthy rival! Our battle will be legendary!" is in effect. But DC currently... Kinda...
