Easy to appreciate the passion, time, and expertise that goes into making a great canoe after watching this. The end result is a functional work of art that is worth the expense.

I have three boats. Two from another manufacturer before I discovered swift. The royalex beater from 06. An ‘87 Kevlar frok Craigslist and a 2021 prospector 15 from swift. While the weight is amazing the real genius is in the seats. Even when weight doesn’t matter I find myself reaching for the prospector because of the seats. You are right to guard that secret. I had to edit the audio out of some of my videos because for months I kept saying how magic the seats were and it was getting redundant. I really want everyone at the shop to know there is some guy in CT paddling his prospector every weekend like it’s his commuter car. It’s a working piece of art. p.s. the people at collinsville canoe are really great at helping . I waited a long time to pay for this boat and I hope my grand children are getting a new gel coat on it and paddling it every weekend some day.

Lots of good information here. Loving that you are showcasing some of your employees and the important roles they play in making the boats. The part about the front deck plate was interesting as well. I actually mount my gopro on it!

It's always great to encounter a person who not only knows what he's doing but takes great pride in doing it. This was a very informative and impressive video and I learned so much from watching it. Thanks!

Very cool! I know my 14' Prospector came out of one of those molds. Can't wait till ice out to go paddling again.

Nice to see the inside of the process, it explains the price of the boats and the worth they have.

2-300 parts out of a mold: you guys actually look after your molds very well then, and they aren't too old either. Where I work, we are pushing 3-4000 parts out of our oldest molds and we are only getting 20-40 out of the molds before the buildup in the porosity (we were told to use the wrong cat in the gel by the sales rep) gets so bad the parts take forever to prep for paint.
