Most of history relied on uncolored bricks, which are in earth tones (brown, tan, grey, orange, red). Now that blue pigment is much more affordable to produce there's no reason blue bricks can't be made. It'd be interesting to see!

My office building has bluish bricks. They have a sort of oily sheen to them too.

the red is iron oxide, which occurring in earth was used by Maoris and historical painters
@chandler18819 жыл бұрын
No that's synthetic iron oxide.. You can see on the label at the end
@aurelienani2049 жыл бұрын
+Azu Amaya Dey Synthetic iron oxide uses iron oxide from the Earth too silly, it uses byproducts of metal production like iron sulfide.

well these are iron compounds, so it would be a series of hydroxides and heat treatments to convert the iron sulphate to iron oxides

They wear gloves when touching other stuff, but when it comes to the food industry, they all dip the their dirty hands in without wearing gloves...
@lavenderpenryn6 ай бұрын
In this video, gloves are worn to protect the workers' hands from the materials they are handling, not the other way around. As long as one thoroughly washes one's hands before preparing food, there will be no contamination. The wearing of gloves during food preparation can actually create the false illusion of cleanliness when in reality cross-contamination is still a factor, as gloves serve only as a "second skin" and can carry germs just as well as real skin does.

pigments are not fun. the color black is a dead kollor, nofing can hawe it, exept kol. kol is the only natural pigment in the world, is so dead it's a color. nofing els is black. saying that somfing is black, is saying its dead. thevonly reason is to use it as a tool to draw.
