that depends on what type of metal it is and how thick it is. thick steel or iron will shrink considerably more than thin walled aluminum.

@KarriKoivusalo you wouldnt believe what industries still use these machine. We have around a dozen where i work. We check tolerances on parts upto .001. Very useful for checking inside castings on tight tolerance parts.

@JustWonderingHowToDo you mostlikley willnot be able to buy whatever it is. the main reason being its not a comon thing. it may evan be made their at the place. 2nd evan if you can buy it its probily going to be expesive and on top of that you probily would have to buy 5000 gallons of it at a time. so it would end up being around $2000 per order
