I just took the gamble and bought a king size one. The basic purple. I am bery satisfied. Much better than i expected and i am not easily impressed. I'm glad purple listens to feedback and innovates. I'm also surprised they haven't made comforters and purple car seat covers. I am please to see purple liked a comment about insoles as someone that owns a two pillows, a bed, sheets, covers, a cushion and bought a cushion for someone as a gift. I love the products though the bed has some points I dislike I have to hand it to support when my purchase got lost in the mail they not only sent me out replacements for those that were lost in transit, but also made an effort to make sure I was happy. My only issue has been the sagging in the mattress as there was memory foam used in their first series mattress (unfortunately).

Product tip: consider making mattress toppers. College students, for example, often sleep on very uncomfortable beds in dorms, but they can’t necessarily switch out their mattress. If that polymer is what makes purple unique. You could try a 1-1.5” polymer with a .5-1” foam top. I bet there is a huge market for it. Hope my comments makes you $$$ 😅

As an owner of multiple purple products, I can attest to their value. My former mattresses were Tempurpedic. I would barely get 4 hours of sleep. I would get woken up by the pain in my knees and my back hurt so bad I got migraines 5 days a week. I have not once gotten woken up from the pain in my knees on my purple.4 mattress. I also live by my purple butt cushion. I don't sit on it, I use it to kneel on. It's the only way I can get work done around the house close to the floor. I have converted both of my sisters and my brother in law. My sister had back surgery and was in terrible pain. She laid on my bed once and immediately had to get one. She's doing much better now. My brother in law uses the purple cushion while driving his big rig. After years of working in flooring installation, his back was toast. This cushion allows him to drive comfortably. Purple has given us back what pain had taken away. I'll always appreciate that.

I don’t blame you. Honestly I feel there’s better approaches to communicating this. I mean we even see the founder Terry mention column buckling. But hell even that concept isn’t mentioned until engineering students take a solids class in the later part of their freshman year or sophomore year. I think if they kept mentioning some of the actual concepts however they would suffer from people thinking they’re just needlessly using big words. It’s sort of a lose-lose. it has not only a smell, but theres reports of a micro plastic powder on it, that can cause inflammation in your lunges and throat as well as eyes, the company went as far to put a lawsuit against a man who came out about it on his mattress review channel

That man was exposed as having worked for one of the competitors. However, that is not to dismiss the problem mentioned. The way purple handled all of it is very shady. They did a TV interview and said you could eat the plastic thing, which happened to have no powder on it. They said it's food safe. A plastic spoon might be food safe, but if you grind it up and inhale it, that doesn't mean your lungs can get rid of it. Food safe only applies to being swallowed into your stomach. You can poop it out. I think the competitors who ran that smear campaign found out about Purple's dirty little secret, this powder, and targeted that, then Purple ran an anti-smear campaign to discredit what was said. Unfortunately for them, the way they handled every bit of it was shady as hell and untrustworthy. It's the reason I won't buy one.

That wont do much... i got the purple 4 and two pillows. The pillows arrived first.. they suck with regular beds. They are low profile, and dont work well on a normal bed. I ended up putting them end to end and sleeping on them like a bed until my bed came. I was kind of put off by them.. buuut then the bed got here.. and the pillows + the bed = AMAZING. your shoulders sink to far into the bed that the low profile works out great. It becomes perfect height. And the bed and pillow giveway at the same time, and its heaven. The smell is awful for a few weeks. The pillows are worse than the bed. Def have to wash the powder out. It was causing me eye irritation. Not bad. But my eyes felt sticky in the morning. however you get a free sample swatch of material with the pillows, and you see why they need the powder.. the raw un coated material is super sticky to itself. Without the powder coating, it wouldnt bounce back for a minute after you pressed on it. Wish there wasnt so much extra powder, but its whatever. It can be washed off. Overall the system is amazing. I cant lay down on anything else. And my slipped disc pain is gone. I dont wake up during the night any more. And if you fall asleep wierd, nothing goes numb. Its got all the perks of other beds and none of the negatives.. the best is it never gets hot. I can sleep under a comforter and wake up in a 90 degree room not sweating. But it doesnt feel cold when its cold either.. i love it soooooo much.
