Absolute respect for the CEO. He acknowledged each employee on this tour and complimented them for their contribution. We as a nation need to make an effort to buy products made in this country so that our country prospers. I myself have made a change and started buying more American made products even if it costs a little more. My trips to harbor freight or any other enterprise that pushes cheap foreign products have decreased to absolute essential only. I have unsubscribed from You tuber's that push sponsored cheap foreign made products and give it glowing reviews to the masses. Thank you Mr. Koon for not selling out and doing awesome reviews. Please continue with these types of content and use your platform to highlight companies that makes their products in the USA and employ's US labor force.👏👏👏

Just threw away 600.00 dollars on this junk! I bought both the SAE and the Metric sets. The gear heads strip out instantly or are jammed right out of the box. They say lifetime warranty but if you can't get ahold of anybody the warranty is a joke. This company basically stole money out of my pocket. As a mechanic I make a living with my tools I expect them to work as intended not just be a dust collector on a back shelf.

To say that the 15/16" wrench is 'girthy' is an understatement. That's an impressive looking tool. I am curious how the DLC holds up over the long term. That process has been around for a long time but I don't recall it ever being used for tools. I would think that a FNC treatment (ferritic nitrocarburizing) would yield better anti-wear and corrosion resistance. Unless that's what they actually have done, although FNC isn't an actual coating.

@@KoonTrucking Did u watch justin sturgill trucking or how ever you spill the fuckin guys name about tribus tools??
@KoonTrucking4 жыл бұрын
Yes I am aware of that but what he forgot to mention is he was sent those wrenches. They were from the first batch that were nitrite coated. The company that Tribus used to have that coating applied did them twice which caused them to become brittle. They caught it early and notified the youtubers that received them to test. (None of the wrenches went out to anyone that PAID for them only to influencers since it was a very small batch) they called all the influencers when they found the issue during in house testing and it was immediately corrected and another company was sourced to do the coating from then on. It was a mistake that wasn’t technically Tribus fault but it caused them to step back and redesign some of the tool issues that could be there and it was honestly a blessing in disguise, they redesigned part of the wrench to make it even better than before. Since then there has been zero issues with them breaking. The company stepped up and found and fixed the issue immediately and that’s all you can ever ask from a company. With any manufacturing company there will be issues and since then they test the products in house as you can see in the video with random tests and even strength tests they perform. I truly believe they are an excellent company and as you can see in this video they take a HUGE amount of pride in their work and are proud of the products they build. Their work going forward will eradicate any doubts of that one mistake that wasn’t even in their control at the time. Hopefully that clears up some of the doubts people have. I’m pretty sure they will officially address this issue so it can be finally put to bed.

@@KoonTrucking You are a class act Mr. Koon. The influencer in question is always taking shots at you but you take the high road and never stoop to that level. I have never heard you speak ill of any of your You Tube content creator peers. Much respect to you🙌.

I was hoping they would address the issues they had with these wrenches breaking before. Was that corrected? If so how did they correct it?
@KoonTrucking4 жыл бұрын
Yes technically it wasn’t Tribus Tools fault it was the company they used to Nitrite coat the wrenches. One batch got done twice by that company and that’s what caused the issue with them because they become brittle from over hardening. They were caught early and not 1 set went out to anyone that “purchased” the wrenches. They were only sent out to some influencers and it was immediately corrected and another company was contracted to do the Nitrite coatings to prevent any future issues. They also went back to the drawing board and made the wrenches thicker and stronger at possible weak points so it actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the company to build an even better product than the original. But since that issue they have performed flawlessly and haven’t had any issues.
