@@noeldickerson2798 oh its very true. there are some factories in the US but nothing like there used to be. its sometimes impossible to find products made in the US even if you want to buy them. you can travel all around the north east and see former factory towns that have turned into welfare towns because all the factories were removed from the US by globalist politicians. its good you have a factory job but i bet it doesnt pay as much as it did in the 60s when adjusted for inflation, look it up and see. the US barely even makes steel anymore. ask Austin where some of their pipe comes from

I did not know that they started making abrasive wheels though , must be a new line , I will have to look for those . I was to the company outlet store years ago that was in a old railroad station and bought some brushes . My dad lived near there at the time.

Would you make a short video explaining what you mean by "chipping a grinding disc"
@georgeramsey28275 жыл бұрын
After you grind a few times the disc edge glazes over so we hit the cutting edge with the handle end of the file. Similar to why you dress a grinding wheel on a bench grinder. Hitting the disc can weaken it and cause a fracture so its not always the best practice.
@chancesanborn79325 жыл бұрын

Having a 1/8" disc for cutting and grinding is a good idea . I've had over years many 1/8"x7" and 1/8"x 9" come apart on me . Got used to the 5/32"x7" disc which would do both cutting and grinding for bigger inch pipe was good for softening pipe when you got Iron bound fit ups . One would grind down to the top of the 3/32" land and a 1/8" rod would work quite well putting in the bead .
