Yes please. Add as many tip videos as you can. I am a wood and drywall guy, just expanding into metal at age 52. I am also a teacher and have a lot of film/tv experience. Your videos are excellent. You are a natural teacher. Great, succinct explanations with examples. Your edits are seamless and your audio is pretty consistent. Keep up the great work

Im glad that was helpful. It all adds up when you are grinding 10, 20, 30 welds. Like I said in the video, if you are grinding down thick welds this will do it, maybe not as fast as a regular flap disc. The beauty is having the option in one product

Great video, thanks. I am always looking for practical hints and demos to share with my son in Taiwan and my son in law in South Africa. I live in the UK. Hope they can get these disks. I am 70 and I still want to learn how to weld mainly to make structures for my garden that have got some artistic fling. Keep up the sharing.

Just found your videos and love them. I am a high school metals teacher and will be using these videos when teaching. Why? because, kids get tired of listening to me and they are great when a student is absent or needs to revisit how to do something. Thanks, I hope you do not mind.

Really enjoy your product and how to videos! There are many good project videos out there but many of the channels never really dive into the products and uses that make the process easier and higher quality. For those of us who aren't "in the business" everyday but serious hobbyists many times aren't exposed to new and innovative products the "pros" use, so huge thanks for your efforts!!

I have noticed good quality flap discs do the same thing. When they get worn they can leave a brilliant mirror shine with a light touch. But when pushing on it hard it removes an amazing amount material.

I like the specific stuff, maybe for future videos you can do some wheel dressing tips or other stone grinding related tips. I don't see a lot of content in regards to grinding with stones or carbide burrs. These are things we use regularly in the die room, stone choice and dressing make a lot of difference. Granted there's not always a ton of reasons to need to know it. Drill bit sharpening is always fun to learn as well. Looking for when and why to sharpen or change bits perhaps. Thanks for the content though.

What do you use to fill small imperfections after sanding welds before painting?
@MakeEverything Жыл бұрын
It depends on the paint process and what I’m going for. If it can be bondoed I will use body filler. There are also high temp putty you can use for powder coating. I usually try and dab a little more weld in there if there’s a gap or low spot.

Hello. By grinding stainless steel pipes to satin or a mirror, do you also do it in a minute with the effect like in the movie? Because if so, such a surface finish is only suitable for paint, and then for a thick layer that will cover scratches. Man 3M Cubitron for the first cut, and then Norton H821. And only later something for satin or a mirror. Greetings from Poland, we already have this technology, it is a pity that in the US there is no ...

@MakeEverything Жыл бұрын
When I’m finishing and grinding steel I almost always remove the guard and use a slower speed variable grinder. The guard will typically interfere with the grinding discs full size. Thst being said, always use a guard when cutting with a cutoff wheel! Good luck!

This kind of things have to have some disadvantage and it's the time. If it takes 1 minute to grind that short weld it's already to long. Normally im using 2 grinders, one with course disc and the other with something softer so I don't have to swap discs all the time. It will take maybe 20 seconds to flat that weld with 40 grit disc and 10 or 15 to smooth it out so I will be faster by 20 - 25 seconds per weld. That's over a minute on 3 sided part like you have in the vise. I'm all in for new stuff but only if it's actually better than what I allready have.
