Have fun with the build 👍.This was the second marble run I build. So for me this one was easy. You should see the one i am now building (Ugears Dream cabrio). That is really challenging.

Mine keeps breaking where the marbles get carried up. They also aren’t fitting around the turn to come back to the carrier for the marbles. What do I do?

@@Potato-ii5wc I also had some issue with the lift after a while. I could fix it by lifting the plate a little bit. The whole lifter is somewhat unfortunate. But without pictures its difficult to discuss this issue.

@@Potato-ii5wc Unfortunately I cannot see that from here. Take a good look at the instructions to see if you have made a mistake somewhere. Maybe something not pressed in properly? Or built in the wrong way?

Die Bauanleitung, die diesem Bausatz beiliegt, ist sehr deutlich. Ich habe auch ein kurzes Video gemacht, wie ich diese Murmelbahn baue. Das ist auch auf meinem Kanal zu sehen. Es gibt auch andere Videos auf KZbin über den Bau dieser Bahn. Und wenn du es dann immer noch nicht schaffst, diese Bahn zu bauen, hättest du vielleicht mit einem einfacheren Bausatz anfangen sollen.

I'm at page 12, assembly of the "counterweight" with the "captured" ball bearing. Press forward, trust the instructions, and all will become clear, I hope. It is not at all clear what the B16, D3, D2, A4 and A5 built part "does" at this point. I saw it in your video. It looks like a counterweight for the main ball grabber / lift.

Unfortunately, I can't help you because I can't find your story on page 12. I can't find the parts you mentioned either.

It is built. It works flawlessly. I broke only two parts when building this project. One the top long marble ramp, the other part of the base mounting substructure. Fixed with wood glue. The isue is most pieces are thin plywood, which is very strong, vs the straight grain pine, which is not. It was straight grain wood pieces I broke with too much pressure. Wax is your friend when building this kit!!! The tolerances of the pieces are amazingly tight, sub-millimeter press fitting. The designers did a fantastic job. I cannot see this type of kit being designed without CAD tools. During the build, I felt like Martin Wintergarden working on the MMX YT project at times. However, I knew my project would succeed. I'm a little sad for where Martin is today. Anyway, great project, very enjoyable assembly. Now thinking of how to motorize this. :)

I can't see from here what went wrong in your build. The gears work perfectly on my machine. Especially with so many moving parts, it is important to follow the building instructions closely

What linkage is used for the first lift?

Ik weet helaas niet zeker wat je bedoeld met jouw vraag. Onder, door de aflopende baan, lopen de knikkers automatisch in de lift. De bodem van de lift loopt iets schuin, zodat de knikker boven, waar hij niet meer wordt tegengehouden, automatisch ut de lift rolt.

Did you break your nails or the rails? You can fix the rails with wood glue. That won't work with your nails 😉. Good luck building.

Broke nails. My son made me a few with a tiny twig. LOL. I am having trouble with the first large cog that goes on with the parts of the handle apparatus. Haven't given up yet.
