I'm from a banana producing country so I know all the scary shizz that goes into the bananas, despite what the documentary says. Also banana plantation workers aren't the most fairly treated workers in the world, regardless of what the companies say. Also, the Cavendish banana, which is what is typically grown for export, has a far inferior taste compared to other local banana varieties.

@SPFLDAngler3 жыл бұрын
The rarity justifies the price. How much of the metal exists in nature and how much can be processed, also what it can be used for. Platinum is so expensive because there is a very small amount that exists in nature to be excavated, and it can be used for so many things that makes it a low supply high demand product, resulting in crazy high prices.

The United Fruit Company, still owner of the Chiquita Banana brand, has been/is one of the US's most exploitative companies in the world/ever. Ask any CostaRican worker, as I have. Several children had eaten bananas just before they got polio. It was thought that an insect or spider was hidden in the bananas and had bitten the children.
