Don’t quench hot steel in water! Use quenching oil. Water cools it too rapidly and causes microfractures that will be the eventual points of failure of the steel.

I don’t know who the hell is calling tamahagane jewel steel, but it’s smelted iron sand, and very impure at that. The entire process of forging a katana is required to make a decent sword out of such awful steel.

That is not a real Samari swordmaster or real Samari sword. A true Samari sword doesn't have a curve in it until the final step. If they made it right during the very long process the sword curves during the quench. The swords he is making are just high-end toys for showcases for the rich and the foolish.

Lmao I'm an American too, but when you think about it, "FOOTball" makes sense instead of soccer. You play soccer by kicking the ball with your foot. American football would be HANDball then haha. ....wait, what do Brits call our version of footbal though? Just American Football? I'm an anglophile, so I love learning how our American English differs from British English. The Brits just naturally sound "fancy" to me, probably because of the Royalty and stuff.

In the 1880s, Rugby was called "Rugger" by school boys. Lecture was called "legger." To differentiate Rugby Football from Association Football, they took the "soc" from "association" and made "soccer." According to a couple maps I read, It's also called "soccer" in Australia, South Africa, Tanganyika, and maybe Japan and Ireland.

Derek Pardoe We hate it because cross-pollination of a patented mutation allows the owners of the GMOs to sue smaller farms for having their product contaminated with their organism. Also, the dwarf-wheat that goes into American bread products is causing celiac disease because of the proteins in it. Real wheat has relatively little gluten in it but is much more susceptible to famine and pestilence.

Stop calling soccer "football"! I don't care which country came first or where you're at. Football is the game of skill played with the brown ball in the United States. Correct me if I'm wrong. In Europe, we do have a variety of American football, it's called RUGBY, not quite the same but almost.. the word Soccer seems a bit doubtfull. Anyways, if you wanna call it football, it will not make me sleepless. However, what makes us smile outside the US is the fact that you have world series where in fact it's only US/US game.
