Boot size & binding size are definitely more important for smooth compatible entry & exit. Ice & snow are issues, but they're a problem with every interface between boots & bindings.

they actually heavy af, weighs 1.3kg per foot. Normal bindings weigh around 1kg in average with some down to 900g. And some Backcountry bindings weigh around 650g.

@@AA_OnTheEdge.3 kg more equals heavy af? What are we talking about here.
@AA_OnTheEdge Жыл бұрын
@@brianp9268 that's 30%, and 100% more than a BC binding.
@brianp9268 Жыл бұрын
@@AA_OnTheEdge why would we compare any easy entry binding to a splitboard binding? This is a goofy conversation.
@AA_OnTheEdge Жыл бұрын
@@brianp9268 I don't see the reason why we can't. They are all bindings and the conversation is about the weight of a snowboard binding. And it's still 30% more than average bindings, which is significant. If you want to compare it to easy entry binding. My Gnu Psych weighs 830g. So yes, Supermatic is heavy AF.
