Yes it is... They don't adequately show how much time and effort goes into setting everything up in the field either. Big or small, it takes a 6 person crew about 1 hour to setup per 100 shells. Lol A lot of work all around.

@KuzzNshazziie The time delay fuse is usually very difficult to ignite, so a hole is punched sideways through the fuse and a small piece of a more easily ignited fuse inserted (seen at 5:48). This ensures the main fuse ignites, otherwise the shell won't explode.

@kony9993 Your right it's most likely 70% potassium perchlorate, 30% blackhead aluminum, and a few extra percent titanium. The perchlorate is the oxidizer, the aluminum is the fuel, and titanium is just for sparks. Like some flash comps it could have some sulfur also, but sulfur increases sensativity. Most likely it's the standered 70/30 being used in production like this simply because it's the safest

A professional fifteen minute display costs over $100,000. I know this because I went to a vocational school in my senior year of high school as part of my day. My construction trades teacher that I had there is a licensed pyrotechnition and he works for Grucci fireworks in addition to his construction company and teaching. He told me that he was setting up a display for a wedding and he said the twenty minute display cost $115,000. There’s a lot of labor that goes into a professional fireworks display.

@wi11y196011 жыл бұрын
They actually incorrectly show the shell the wrong side up. The fuse to the "break chamber" points downward into the lift charge. The quick match is attached to the fuse that you see being inserted at 4:36. The quickmatch then travels up the side of the shell and back to the middle of the shell where a loop of twine holds the quickmatch to the center and then is about 3 feet long with a colored paper cap on the end. After the shell is loaded, the cap is slid off exposing the fuse for ignition

Deuteronomy 13: 6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.
