5:48 You can just go to the power up preview and then count how many power ups it would take. Then just divide that number by 2 and subtract that number from your max level and find out the level that way or as a term:your max Pokémon level - plus button presses until the preview resets / 2
@Pro_Tro3 жыл бұрын
Using overlay apps is much faster and easier than this
@cahe91533 жыл бұрын
If you’re on iPhone that’s not always the case because you’ll have to first click on appraise then click again then take a screenshot then leave pogo open something like pokegenie then click import click on the picture look at the level and then go back to pogo while with this method if the Pokémon is high level anyways you’d just have to click power up then count and then calculate it in your head which only takes 5 seconds maximum and then you’ll know the level and also that doesn’t change the fact that you don’t need an external App to find out the level

Confused
@shaunbaptist75923 жыл бұрын
@@abigaillefountain3596 Basically first you preview the pokemon's max level by seeing what the highest CP it can reach is. Then, tap power up, and keep tapping the minus button until the CP either resets (goes back to the max, in which case you tap the plus button once and record how many minuses you tapped the minus) or until it goes down to the CP that the pokemon currently is at (you can remember beforehand what the number is, and stop once it reaches that). In either case, once you've counted down to the pokemon's current level, subtract the tap count from the max powerups (e.g. if you're between level 30 and 40, that's 40 total levels times 2 power ups per level = 80 total). Say it took 26 taps of the minus button to reach the current level (and the pokemon is able to reach level 40). You would do 80-26 and then divide by 2 since there's 2 powerups for 1 level. So 54/2 = level 27. Alternatively you could halve everything to start with so you're only dealing with whole levels; then 40-13 = 27 as well. Note that you can have half-levels, e.g. (80-15)/2 gives level 32.5. Hope that helped :)

Because maxed Trainer level is level 50, and pokemon should be maxed at 50, you can only have one level 51 pokemon, if it's level 100 system then level 51 would be level 102. Plus in the future, level 60 might be a thing, level 100 system would make pokemon way surpass 100. It's just Doesn't sounds normal.

@4000YearsAhead3 жыл бұрын
All your choice, im level 43 so I only power up ones I know I'm going to keep, because I've been playing a while. For grunts, leaders and raids etc. it doesn't really matter about IVs, they don't make that worthwhile of a difference. Especially if it's gonna cost you a whole lot more. I would suggest just evolving poor IVs for now and get a decent team going, then when you get resources and a really good iv, you can evolve and power that one up. An example, I had terrible luck getting a good mudkip and I could have benefited from just evolving one and nothing else, but I waited and eventually got 3 98% I believe. Then I powered them up. Kind of close to one another. Just the way the game goes, patience definitely will save you. But investing a small amount of candy to have a decent one for now is no harm. Cheers.

Can you make a video explaining Math behind the moves+ stats? From what I understand is that Raid boss have some high value of HP, let's say 1000. And it has some defense. So I have my pokemon with attack value + IV value + some value from move + there is a boost from STAB, friends bonus, remote raid bonus, weather boost, mega boost etc. Minus raid pokemon defense, + or - of typing effectiveness so at the end we deal some X amount of damage and minus it from HP. Additionally it gives Y amount of charge to charge move. So far I haven't found a video or document explaining all the details of this mechanics.
@ann-kathrin20843 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if I understand your question but do you ask for the calculation of the exact amount of damage an attack will do? The formula for the actual damage looks like this: 1 + Floor(0.5 * MovePower * AdditionalFactors * Attack / Defense) *Floor* means rounding down. *MovePower* is the number next to the attack. *AdditionalFactors* includes things like type effectivities, STAB, friendship bonus, shadow bonus, weather bonus and maybe I forgot something. *Attack* is the attackers attack: (base attack + individual attack)*cp_multiplier. *Defense* is the defenders defense: (base defense + individual defense)*cp_multiplier.

I’ve always wondered and I still don’t think this video answers the question, which pokemon would be better in league play, a swampert for example with 2499 cp and IV’s of 7•5•2, or a swampert that has 2480 cp with IV’s of 13•15•14 for example? And would the amount of times you power up a Pokémon make a difference? Like say you got 2 of the same Pokémon with the same IV’s but caught at different CP. The higher CP one you powered up 3 times and it maxes out at 2500 cp after its final evolution. The lower cp Pokémon you powered up 28 times after it’s final evolution to get it to the same 2500 cp. Would the Pokémon you powered up 28 times be stronger??? Please someone help me figure these out.
@ann-kathrin20843 жыл бұрын
In PvP the level of the pokémon plays a major role. Every power up increases the level by 0.5. It's not important which level it was before you used power ups. It's the same if you level it from level 1 to 34 or from level 33 to 34. Without a list of the iv rankings of swampert I couldn't tell if 7/5/2 or 13/15/14 is better. Often (but definitely not always) the one with the cp closer to the limit is better.

Why is there not a single KZbinr talking about how every time you power up a Pokemon you start losing HP points. Ever notice that if you try power up your Pokemon more than five times you start losing HP increase points. For the first two you get some +2 then +1,+2 +1+1 and maybe one more plus 2. After that you start getting until you can actually start getting no HP increase? If you try to increase your Pokemon too quickly in one day does it start penalizing You by reducing HP increase? if that's the case in your most likely to increase the best HP possible and you should just do two power-ups on one Pokemon per day. That way you have the highest chance of getting two HP +2's. Otherwise you start getting a negative RNG multiplier. Hopefully I'm not the only one tp notice this. If I am I'm the first to say something about it on KZbin 🎉
@ann-kathrin208410 ай бұрын
If the increase is as small as you described it depends a lot on rounding. Sometimes it's rounded to 2, sometimes to 1. The reason for a smaller increase beyond level 30 is the design of the formulas and the so called cp multiplier.

The IV will stay the same when you evolve them. It only changes when you trade or purify it.

What does HP and Defense do
@ann-kathrin20842 жыл бұрын
The pokémon has more hp points when the hp value is higher. They are its "life points". It's the green or yellow bar below the pokémon. Every attack from the opponent (PvP, raid or gym battles) will decrease those points. The higher the defense value the less damage do attacks from other pokémon.

I'm confuse so I'm level 35 at the moment and I fully maxed out my Gengar for the CP so if I reach level 40 does that have circle go up once I reach level 40 or does it stay the same
@ann-kathrin20843 жыл бұрын
If you reach level 40 the little dot on the half circle will move a little bit to the left. The circe itself stays the same.

how can you know a pokemon has a perfect IV in the wild just by looking at the cp??
@ann-kathrin20843 жыл бұрын
Usually that is not possible. Maybe a friend of you who already caught it told you about the iv. Or it is one of the very rare "guaranteed hundo cp" (but nobody has those values in mind). From raids, quest or eggs it would instead be much easier because the pokémons level is fixed.
