You still have a pretty promising team. Cade and Duren are going to be very good one day. Ivey is solid. Stewart and Fontechioo could be pretty solid role players as well. Your coaching and front office are an absolute mess though. You really should be putting everything you have into putting pieces around Cade and Duren

So happy you did a video on Suggs. He really struggled a lot the past couple of years trying to be the savior at PG like he did at Gonzaga and that’s just not his role in the NBA. I’m glad he’s morphing into an unstoppable 3 and D guard who’s all over the place
@rubencarti62189 ай бұрын
Lowkey I think he actually needs to be more of an aggressive shooter on ball

Suggs is the guy who always gives his best effort. He is one of my favorite players to watch. His offensive improvement, especially shooting 3s, has helped this magic team find success.

@MatthewMedina-b7l9 ай бұрын
He’s actually been elite defensively since day 1. RAPTOR ranking rated him as one of the 5 best defensive guards in his rookie season. This season he is actually healthy. Combined with the Magic actually winning games, he is getting his due. I appreciate how you said people are finally waking up. And offense he is coming around, now that his ankles and wrists(he sprained both his rookie season) are healthy. Still a ton of upside with Jalen on offense as well. Can’t wait to see him progress.

Last year I thought he might be a trade chip, did not see this kind of breakout coming. He’s a heart of the team type guy, so glad he’s on the team.

Suggs development this year has arguably been the biggest development in the Magic rebuild. Paolo is the obvious #1. Franz just needs to find his perimeter shot again.
@ajayjaggernauth85009 ай бұрын
I would counter with JI. The fact that we even stuck with him after all the injuries is remarkable. And the fact that he's developed into an arguable generational defender and the best minute per minute defender in the NBA is incredible

I was hoping Franz would make a leap this year, did not anticipate the leap coming from Suggs. It’s gonna be rough trying to manage contracts on all these guys pretty soon 😬

His 3p% growth is motivating! His defense is S class but watching some of his defensive highlights it seems so intense bordering on reckless. Hope he gets a bag for his 3 and D and then be more selective with his defensive intensity.

If he can just become a good slasher he’ll be a perfect role player man he’s filling out the KCP model very well

Another thing Suggs does well is throw full court out of bounds passes. The Magic will have him inbound when there’s only a couple seconds left and his throw the ball like a QB the full court to Franz in perfect stride for an easy shot.
