Lol!!! Omg I know! I went to a different convenience store yesterday to withdraw some money.... and I’m not joking, there were about 25 people there. And like 6 kids running around touching and coughing on everything (no masks). _| ̄|○

Florida still under a stay-at-home order and too many people, and not wearing masks, protesting to reopen instead of waiting and probably didn't get their stimulus check. My family and I have isolated in the best way possible since March, and we are okay at the moment - no symptoms of the virus, that is.

@@TokyoBriBri Yes, I really want this pandemic to end immediately than later. I'm not too sure if reopening the beaches are a good idea though. Even if they will, it's not a good idea to go there right away, but that's just me.

I;m currently staying in a small town, up in the mountains of Southern California. The local grocery store has put up Plexiglass walls rather than hanging plastic sheets. These walls appear to be built to last. Despite this precaution, most of the staff are using home-made, improvised masks. Favorite news: The work being done with the oral polio vaccine, which was effective against SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV may be found to interfere with the replication phase of the SARS-CoV-2 virus as well. If true, this medication has been around for over 60 years, would present little risk of the unknown, and could be made in the quantities needed quickly. If a truly new vaccine is required, it would likely take over a year to be widely available, so this news gave me some hope.

I was supposed to come to language school today, and arrive in japan. But since the country closed the border to US travelers, the school got pushed back to JUNE 15th. Do you believe the travel ban will be lifted by then?

Here groups more than five people are forbidden at the moment - Parks are locked down - The police drives around checking the physical distancing - If people don't react to the police women and police men's command to leave the spot the police can give them penalties of each CHF100 (JPY11200). The number of people are limited at the grocery shops. There are lines drawed on the floor so the customers know how much two metres are... I do hope that the pandemic will soon be over - if the live comes back to normal the government has to tell from which country you can come from entering the Swiss borders. I guess that our borders will be closed to the regular traffic until September for the people of our neighbouring countries. For the rest of the world it will depend on the actual situation of the country because otherwise we will have to start at step 1 again - And who wants that? What? The Japanese government has no rights to tell the people what is allowed and what not? No wonder that there is a mess that some prefecture governments were requesting to declare the emergency in their prefecture too... But there are some other countries having the same problem (you know probably which I am talking). Thank you for sharing your video with us.

Yeah, I wish Japan could implement more rules. Maybe individual shops will start limiting the number of people allowed in...but I doubt it. Tokyo just had another record day of infections... I really can’t see this ending soon. I know you were thinking of coming to Japan maybe this year. I’m so sorry that you probably will have to wait! 😭 But the most important thing is to stay safe!
