I have been recently blood tested and found out I have CMV as well. Not in current active infection but unsure of when I got it. Had similar ish symptoms in May 2022. I’m feeling a bit lost with it and feel it made me have chronic fatigue that I still deal with.

I’m so sorry that you’re going through that. 😔 It’s certainly a struggle. I hope you’re feeling better. ❤️ After changing my diet and lifestyle my chronic fatigue has gotten so much better! In the beginning though it was so hard. For a year I was basically bed ridden. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Please take care. ❤️

Oh man I remember when you were sick and because I don't log into FB regularly I never heard what you had. Been thinking about it all this time! Thank you for the update! I feel you on the chronic fatigue... I was never formally diagnosed but I had the post-malaise for a good year after adult mono as well. I only got close to my normal stamina after totally changing my diet and working with a trainer, and still get occasional fatigue relapses - though nowhere near as regularly as before. I'm so SO glad you're finally feeling better after all of that! 💖

Aww thanks for thinking of me! It was a ROUGH year and I’m so glad I’m out on the other side now. I had never heard of CMV or chronic fatigue and it was so hard not to get depressed. I’m glad you’re feeling better too! Eating well and just moving is a game changer. ❤️
