@@weeberius832 what's happening in the west is your gov's own fault for not background checking people. To put it simply, some Japanese dont care whether there are foreigners or not in the working sector. Some even consider them as important as the country is dying. Smaller towns already started becoming like a scene out of post-apocalyptic movie. 1/4 of the population are elderly people. A lot of strain is being put on the working class to run the economy and care for the elderly. The gov is trying really hard to put this to a stop but still fail coz they cant see the reason people wont have families is coz of their working culture, not really money. Thats what happen when a country lack the voice of the youth. Japan managed to bounce back after the war was because they had a lot of young people back then. New fresh ideas, lots of energy and desire to change the country for better cause. But now, youth's voice is held back by their smaller numbers compared to people in their 40s and above.

Something I've recently learned from Abroad to Japan (or a channel name like that) is that some shop made a sign saying streaming is not allowed. I know not every shop allow people to casually stream but from what I've seen people filming would ask if it was ok to film inside....or at least do it quietly without disturbing anyone. The fact that some shops feels the need to put a sign to say streaming/filming is forbidden just shows how these "iNfLuEnCeRs" crossed a line.

Abroad In Japan had recently a good video about this topic. Fortunately, there are also good KZbinrs who respect the culture. Ultimately, it is up to people to reject these cringe streamers. What we can do is promote good quality videos (Sora, Abroad In Japan, Anime Man etc.) and report cringe videos involving illegal activity (such as what Fidias did) to KZbin. The more people report it, the more likely the video will come down and even get the KZbinr banned for illegal activity. I want to point out something I said elsewhere too: KZbin is responsible for not taking stronger action against illegal activity and hate speech, simply because it’s all about views and therefore more ads.

I think a good thing to do at this point is to remind people that there are good foreigners there who respect Japan's cultures and laws and the bad apples are the minority. I'm just saying as things can get outta hand quickly

I feel like everyone sane shares this view, or sees it as too abstract to even think of cause they know if something like this happened in nearly any other country (nearly because some might be as polite and trouble avoiding as Japan) in less than a week that person would be stopped by someone's fists or other direct ways of showing irritation.

0:57 I'm from London, England and we use a similar ticket gate system, where we either insert our paper train tickets or tap in at the gate using bank cards, Oyster Cards (The London Equivalent Japanese IC Cards like Suica and Pasmo) or smartphones through Google Pay and Apple Pay. The only difference is that our gates are bigger and has only two doors instead of four.

It's unforunate that what they did actually worked for kids that don't know any better and think it's funny. There's so many way to grow a following online nowadays. One of those ways is actually being helpful to other people who want to explore a new country they are going for the first time. I get wanting to grow a youtube channel. After all I am one of those guys trying to grow one. The only differene is I try to show people how they can make their trip great rather than being a nuisane to unrelated people. I am sure this will be one of many since, as long as social media awards this type of behavior someone else will eventually do it. That was a lot of kimoi streak. Joke aside, the most kimoi thing in the list are breaching off the train and ride it for free. Not only that he did crime, he also publicity the way he do it, it can mislead a lot of people. Altho in general, all the list are just way too kimoi.

Throughout this video, i was thinking 2 things: 1) If their reactions were "softened", their 本音 must be far worse than i could imagine 🤣🤣 2) i'm not sure we share the same understanding of what "きもい" or "cringe" mean. For example, if someone broke into my home and stole food i would feel a LOT more upset than just "きもい" or "cringe" 😩

These are not just honest japanese reactions, they are also honest ppl with good sense reactions. I know western ppl tend to look or act less "polite" or respectful in comparison to japanese/asian ppl, but i really hope this is not how we are considered in the est, cause these jerks streamer

In the case of someone won't get into trouble with remarks like the somali ones, unless its a threat to kill. What about the remark about "doing it again" in context of the hiroshima stuff? won't that can be taken into a different interpretation as someone that would probably commit terror acts?

The only thing that really mattered out of this video is that Sora has the vocal chops to outdo anyone else who says "Rasengan". Now he has to move on to Chidori-ing the rest of tokyo.

People follow the rules of hospitality because it sets a precedent that no one should randomly shank you for nothing. And so have a nation thats constantly paranoid and need to carry weapons around for "self defense." But naturally every country goes under the assumption that the guest is equally polite or cordial. If said guest fails to do that. Socially it should be okay to punish them. And the fact is. It works. The moment Somali got doxxed on streamed or punched his face in and finally arrested. He's suddenly not very rude immediately. Japan needs to understand thats the universal rule. When people fuck around, the public needs to show them what's what to find out. At a mental age these are literal toddlers. Practically animals in depth of thought. Consequence need to be quick and immediate. Or they'll think there's leeway to take advantage of. Thats why Somali kept doing it. It took so long for him to eat one in the face.

Fortunately, we didn't have any (as far as I remember, at least) brazilian streamers causing trouble or being a nuisance in Japan. "Baka Gaijin" is a very good streamer because he mostly shows alleys in Japan. He finds them amazing in a way (and so do we that watch him).
