Come and visit Roth, join Jonas, cycle or run with him! I was there and it was so impressive, full of energy! A lot of people get motivated by Jonas! He is so positive!

He is an amazing personality. He's been a friend of mine for a few years and we cycled in Girona this year for a couple of days. He is built differently. For anyone interested, he is doing a longer public talk about his Triathlon around the world in Vienna, Austria on October 5th 2024!

For sure impressive to be able to do those ultra ultra ultra distance. Also interesting how the human body reacts and how much actually the body can possible to do. Many people are impressed, me too, but I am also really impressed when someone run 5 km around 15-17 min. It’s a lot of hard work to be able to run so fast. Me struggling to reach 26 min, have to squeeze myself all I got to reach that speed. One IM is totally different, a long day and it’s mentally in an other way. //Marie-Louise

to be honest to improve ur running speed u really need to train on a treadmill. There u can perfelty train with different inclines and u can train way better specific times. Try every week to run the first kilometer 10 seconds faster, the second 8, the third 6, the fourth 4 and the last 2 seconds faster and over months u HAVE to improve. Trust me ur body can easily run those meters a bit faster, its all in ur brain.

i went from my bed to the kitchen to the toilett and into the bed again, kinda the same...ish.. xD actually, i have a slight overuse injury on my knee and i try to manage it somehow because i run my first marathon in 7 weeks ^^ comparing this to jonas, its amazing what our body (his body^) can endure...what a machine 🤙

I've wondered about the adaptation curve as I start pushing myself harder. When I first started, I surmised that if I did repeated distances, my body would adapt, and if I did 3x the distance, the distance would become easier. He proved the first. I still wonder about the second.

How can a person manage this? Who pays for all this stuff? He didn’t mention any sponsorship or financial backer.
@iamtheonenonly2502 ай бұрын
Check his gear. He has many sponsors. After each adventure he publishes a book / film / does a media tour. Most of his income comes from being a speaker though. Don't quote me on that but he made 7 figures after his triathlon around the world.

He has very strong sponsors... sport brands and TV

I don’t understand how people can afford to do this.
@SaschaRissling2 ай бұрын
He has longterm high class sponsors like shimano etc. He did a media tour before the attempt and will sell book and movie afterwards.
His challenge is like a voluntary torture. It seems not that healthy. He is 37 years old but looks more like he is in his 50s…
@rainbowlable2 ай бұрын
He never shaves during his adventures and he is out in the weather for about 13-15h every day. That definitely contributes to his look. But he always recovers, and his first appointment after all of his adventures leads him to a barbershop 😅

@@rainbowlable the beard makes him look much older, yes. and my comment was without judgement, just an observation. I showed my kids parts of the footage and they guessed he‘s 55 years old. even with beard, he appears almost 20 years older than his actual age. but I wish him nothing but the best.

It is not about quantity, it is about quality, a lot easier to cumulate the events than to win one real 70.3, in my opinion this trend is ridiculous, one marathon a day for 120 years....this guy has a lot of free time, good for him.
@SchWoMbaz2 ай бұрын
Well, maybe for Jonas it's about quantity, maybe it's not. Different people, different challanges - there is no one right way to do a sport. All the best for your next 70.3 if that's what you enjoy!
@derdualeraum3562 ай бұрын
If you had listened to him closely, you would have realized that he has no free time during the challenge. He works every waking minute for 120 days straight. But enjoy your yearly 70.3 anyway! 😊

My question is how many times should I run slow but long in 7 days of the week how many days should I run 2 times a day or 1 run is ok. Should I run a tempo/sprint that day, if I do, when and how? Should I take a break during the week? Or run for each day of the week. How can I avoid injury ________ Can you suggest a weekly routine to increase my mile pace,will you create content on this?
