There is nothing like having a family member who struggles with alcoholism and / or drug addiction. It's difficult and heart-wrenching. And sometimes it takes everything strong, and the love that is inside of you not to give up on that person. As a mother of an adult son who is a father of four beautiful children, he, too, is still consumed by these struggles. I understand the fight, disappointments, the hopes, and the fears that are felt by those closest. My heart goes out to the significant others that stay close and support those with this affiliation. Such a hard journey to walk.

Jonathan is a fantastic Actor and prior won a Golden Globe award. He was amazing in the series ‘Dracula’. I’d urge anyone to watch it. Its not what you would imagine, its really fantastic. I don’t usually get drawn into things but this series was so great I was looking forward to every episode when it aired years ago. A must watch. Also, he is stunningly handsome in this role. Thank me later😊❤️

@ mrsx7944 I really don’t know because it was so great. I never even meant to watch it as not really into Dracula stuff but I was staying with family & they watched it & got me hooked. There was even a ‘fan petition’ to bring it back but for some reason the network chose not to. JRM’s acting in it is superb. He sadly lost his Mother mid-filming so had to fly home for the funeral, and then get back to work, so perhaps it was too much to do another season, but thats purely a guess. So many people loved it, me included.❤️

He's an addict and the last thing that you should comment on negatively is that he went to rehab 4 times because it demonstrates that he was making the effort to overcome his addiction. I would bet he has a chemical imbalance and self medicates which is huge reason why many artists resort to substance abuse.

He’s amazing, but has some narcissistic tendencies. I think Hollywood hasn’t helped. Part of me understands, but the other part says “grow up and stop finding excuses to relapse.” Even his moments of taking responsibility sound a bit hollow, but maybe he’s tired of answering questions. I don’t know. Hopefully he stays sober. Although it sounds a bit cliche’, he needs God in his life in a very personal way. People, life, your own best intension will fail you. Even his wife can’t keep up with his destructive behavior forever. He has to have The Lord in his life to find something that goes far beyond all this temporary world.
