For those asking how they make so much money here’s how : Kate still is a part of her family’s multimillion pound business , so makes most of the money from it . Whereas for William and the whole Royal Family : the whole country’s tax payers only pay for their met police security and foreign tours. When they purchase something they pay from their own pockets which is the they have got through their investments in a 1000 year old duchy that are lands that have been developed and have been looked after by the royal institution for 1000 years . For us as taxpayers it costs less than a pound which means all together we pay them 60 million pounds but in return they invest the money back into the country through lands/duchy and bring over 2 billion pounds each year into the country’s economy . Now that’s a pretty good investment

That was Charles' vintage Aston Martin. Bet he wasn't too happy about Wills grinding the gearbox down the Mall. Poor guy must've been full of nervous excitement with his being the most watched wedding in history and his gorgeous bride next to him. Catherine looked flawless and hee wedding dress is my absolute favorite. I thought Grace Kelly's wedding dress was beautiful, classic, elegant, and respectful. Catherine's was like Grace's but obviously updated with the times with just enough of a modern edge such as the deeper V neckline all while retaining that vintage sophisticated style and all the adjectives I used describing Grace's dress. And the lace with the hook-and-eye buttons wity the little modern bustle and the sheer, simple veil. I loved tgat she didn't overdo the lace on the veil or gown and just recently read that the lace is specially handmade in England at special school or atilier for lace (if there is such a thing) that in the hand embroidered lace Catherine and the designer had the official state flower of each of the U.K. countries (Wales, England, Scotland, and Ireland--as a substitute for Northern Ireland) embroidered on the lace that she wore. I do wish she would've gotten a better tiara...a slightly taller one or wider one as the Cartier Halo is fairly narrow and short. (Hated Megnut's tiara. To me it's one of the worst in the Royal Collection. And don't get me started on her dress!!! Yikes. And she absolutely should NOT have been wearing white or any shades of white, ivory, creme, etc. She should've worn grey like Camilla did or even silver...as someone on their third marriage and approaching 40 looked a bit ridiculous, mainly the whole virginal blushing bride when Meg has been around the block or two.

So funny!!!! Kate is quite happy to wear High street - in clothes and jewellery as is often mentioned in the mags. The problem then arises as the High Street stores run out of particular garments! And following family traditions.... Kate re cycles clothes and every outfit has at least one often several outings. I think the Queens fave handbag is 60 years old now? Still serves it's purpose so why change? Good try at dissing them - but it doesn't really work when you have a memory.

You can find those ones in the High Street shops and they are often inexpensive so she doesn't just champion high end British goods.

@U Slavic I did a little research. A grammer school is a secondary school for kids 11 and older, with high academic grades. Kind of like middle and highschool here, with all AP classes. 😊 Usually, kids who want to attend University go there. Kids with lower grades, or who want to learn a trade, would attend secondary modern schools. A lot of European countries have similar secondary education systems.

The system you talk about with secondary modern schools and grammar schools existed in the past in the 1970s, not now. Then, you took a test, the '11 Plus'. This whole system was socially divisive and was scrapped for the comprehensive school system, set up to provide a good education for everyone, regardless of ability. There is no double standard .Megan is the wife of the Harry who is 6th in line for the throne .Catherine is the wife of William who is second in line and she is a future Queen.It follows that Catherine is more important / significant than her sister in law and that rankles with the ambitious newcomer .The press make out there is rivalry between the 2 ladies but I think the rivalry arises from just one person and it is not Williams wife.
