I remember this ..! My cousin was racing in the Craftsman truck series and i was at the track and we heard about this… believe it or not i think about this every time the hood is open , really careful and watch where my hand are…! 😵‍💫🏁🏁

I get the biggest kick out of Ken Schrader stories. The man is a total bad ass! But, doesn't act like it. Ken ran here in Michigan at Flat Rock Motor Speedway earlier in the season this year. He ran a borrowed Street Stock and finished like 6th. He was right behind my neighbors car for more than a few laps, I thought Man don't spin him or I won't be able to mention Kens name no more at the garage. Just a legend and a very nice guy.

Crazy stories. ALWAYS, make sure everyone is on the same page. Right thumb was lanced open to the bone in 3 places, on a spinning-down Derale Tornado 16" fan. Thought it was a yellowjacket sting, till I flung blood everwhere. Off to the Emerg for them to scrub with iodine and use Vietnam Superglue stitches. Could have saved $600 if I had it on hand, so to speak. Now, I do.
