It's also the agency responsibility to put a maturity content warning for that type of concert. So parents could be aware of what will go on during it.

You are right but since the Company wants what the Company wants.... and every Ticket sale counts. But expecting from an industty that mostly exploits the young age of idols Trainees or what ever stage they are sounds sonehow insane to me. I mean check the age they are debuting them nowadays. The Company also targets mainly the Desires of mostly men who are attracted to them asian women eventhough they mich not be kpop Fans but since hot asian women ate dancing sexy even they get hooked to buy Tickets. Its s wax of generating money. Same goes for women. The Company wants as many peoole hooked qs possible. Its a Business that wants to make Sure it Stays in the Western entertainment hemisphere for a very long time. So somehow they have to give them something to be hooked to.

@@elangeleelangele204 Uh what? Kpop concerts have been like this since at least 2nd gen, earlier than that even. Male idols have done sexualized dances and such for forever at their concerts but no one batted an eye or took notice until female idols started being allowed to. No one was screaming for content warnings until women started being sexy.

I mean Jay B did this recently before he enlisted- it was a 21+ show which did upset some ppl but its bc its an adult show. Or BM of Kard saying recently that they consider themselves Adult Kpop. Its basically saying the same thing. What I will say though, is most of these idols are legal adults by western standards so I think that they have the right to do what concepts they and their company want. That said, most kpop fans- the majority of them, are legal adults also. Its also up to the parents to know what their kids are listening to and what the artists are like before allowing anyone underage to attend. Its like Rates R movies, underage kids cant buy tickets without a parent bc of the mature content. With that, I have an almost 12 year old and while I'm wholeheartedly a hard stan sometime, I do let him listen to most songs (not all) and he's not been to a kpop show yet bc of this concept. To add, while my neices arent into kpop, my sister and sister-in-law, both of their families heavily control what they listen to in their company and homes except the only one who's over 18 and in college. The rest arent allowed to listen to most mainstream radio even bc of suggestive themes and videos.

You won't believe yesterday I talked to my 11 year old cousin on phone and out of nowhere she said that she knows blackpink members and they are Korean and other stuff. I was surprised as she's just a kid and maybe she got this from her school friends. I'll go to her place in few days and will try to explain her to not go for blackpink especially and if she really wants then I'll suggest her some decent groups. It'll be harmful for her if she gets into blackpink as they just show visuals with meaningless lyrics and always brag about themselves. They have whole time for haitus and songs towards haters and other usual crap but can't have a humble song for fandom. She should not get into these girls at all, atleast not until she grows up. They'll just have negative impact on her. I'll try my best to convince my dearest girl. Yeah it's specially going way too far with blackpink nowadays. Seems like they just want to be western in any way. The recent concerts and jennie being in a disgusting show herself. Still fans always come up with they are grown women, they are humans, they just slay. In reality, blackpink fandom is 60% teenagers or minors. If someone tries to even bring up something these delusional people just disrespect that person and it's worse if it's from another fandom.

@@D3AD_TH0RNS. Again this goes back to listening to and watching their kids are looking at. Yes however the problem comes in because of the sudden change. For years now parents in Korea have made it Entertainment companies and Idols responsibility to make sure their child isn’t watching anything vulgar or inappropriate and now entertainment companies are leaving it up to the parents (which is what they should have done from the beginning) It was the inevitable for parents to get mad when K-pop stopped censoring themselves to protect children but they’ll be okay.

If they intensely studied and copied major parts of "western" culture, then of course their concerts will be more like "western" concerts. The parent did the right thing by leaving, but I wonder how much the parents are looking into the possible content of these shows before buying tickets. Some people are saying there were warnings before you even buy a ticket. Either way, if you already know these groups must copy western culture to stay relevant, and you think western culture is trashy, then you already have a clue of what you might get at a kpop concert or show before you buy tickets for your child.
