Dragan Bender was the 4th Pick and Marquese Chriss was the 8th Pick in the 2016-17 NBA Draft. They are also no longer in the the NBA. The clock starts to tick right after the Draft - you have to prepare, work to improve, hope to stay healthy and try to fit the system you are Drafted into (Adaptation). The NBA has only about 450 Players among its ranks on a yearly basis...60 Players are Drafted each year...hopefully the Players save a significant amount of money from these lucrative NBA Contracts so they can have something to start their lives after basketball.
