This is not as strange as it seems at first. People often don't think about the fact that vinegar is one of the main ingredients in ketchup, so it's just making the ketchup more liquid and more vinegary when they mix them together. If you love vinegar, I would recommend eating french fries with malt vinegar instead of ketchup some time. Masarap!

I loved this! I follow Kulas on KZbin and this came up as a recommended video. I really enjoy Karylle's style, so I'll have to look into her more. Plus, I'll want to check out her podcast on Spotify to hopefully hear what was bleeped out on here. I'm not very good at lip reading.😂 I hate missing out on the things that they laugh at but we don't get to hear. Karyllle, please help Kulas with his pronunciation of the vowel "a" in Filipino. If you can pronounce his last name the German way, I think he should be able to pronounce words like manong and ninang the Filipino way (low key roasting of Kulas).

9:25 haha Kanina! Well, Language as they say is an ever expanding universe so dami parehas na terms na magkakaiba ng meaning sa ibang lengguahe. You just have to be careful sometimes if you are new to the language. By the way, ganda pa rin ni K. Anyways, yung wife ko po is Pangasinense (taga Pangasinan). Yun pong lugaw sa kanila is binulbol, yun pong pangasinan ng matagal ay mabaybayag at yung talbos po ay uton/utong. Kaya pag sinabi mo sa pangasinan ang "Ang tagal naman mag luto ng lugaw. Lagyan mo kaya ng talbos ng kamote yan", sa Pangasinan po according to my wife is "Mabaybayag ya naluto so binulbol. Itdan ko amoy (uton na/ utong) kamote" ehehe. Just like to share.

I think that sawsawan, which is composed of vinegar mixed with ketchup, is used for kwek2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's based on my experience.

Sawsawan means dipping sauce from root word sawsaw meaning to dip.. so any sauce or condiment where one dips into is called sawsawan. The same way nakisawsaw sa usapan means butting into another persons' conversation.

It _is_ actually called "pikpik" in Bisaya. The other word is ONLY in Tagalog. It's a different term in Bisaya, so the word doesn't have that resemblance.
