An the only thing that changed this year is the ravens got a new coordinator who has a modern schene and complimentary passing game. Lamar was ALWATS a pass first qb. I have conspiracy theory. The ravens kept Lamar in that elementary Greg Roman scheme with no weapons for as long as they did to stifle Lamar’s growth and prevent him dominating the league even more than he already was. Could you imagine if they had actually gotten him weapoms and put him in this more modern passing scheme 2-3 years sooner?
