People undermining some on the list because they inherited. Knowing the % of people who lost their fortune, it would be a safe bet to say that if those envious people inherit that kind of money they would lose it sooner rather than later.

If you want to know why it doesn't matter who gets elected in Chile, Brazil nor Mexico, be it from the Left (Boric, Lula, AMLO) or the Right (Piñera, Bolsonaro, Fox), it's because of the families. Unlike basket-case Venezuela, where each regime creates its own oligarchs, other LATAM countries have managed to create some economic stability by heeding to the interests of the established capital. Hence, each new government doesn't change much from its predecessor, in spite of the heated rhetoric.

It's a developing market. Not a lot of fast growth companies like we have here in the states. It'll get better as the countries grow, and companies like NuBank and MercadoLibre continue to grow those founders will see their wealth exceed these billionaires with ease.

All the women inherited their money. Pathetic. They need to be self made.
