What I like about the transition to Slot and the entire first team coaching, nutrition, sports science staff, goalkeeping coach and even the coach linking the academy with the first team pathway has been seem less. Slot has instilled a composure, a patience and adjusted the system/shape to solidify and strengthen our defence. If you look at his teams in Holland they where structurally solid at the back and did not concede goals, but they also scored freely. The exciting thing I believe there is a lot of room for improvement in our high press and goalscoring as the team evolves throughout the season. So arguably we will get better and better as we evolve this season if we have some luck with injuries

I loved Klopp and his "heavy metal" style of play. However, I can see the benefits of Arne Slot's tactical 'tweaks' and those 'tweaks' will also help at the business end of the season as the players won't be quite as fatigued as in the past, due to Slot's more measured, controlled style. But we'll see what unfolds...... I would also say that if Klopp found himself in LFC's current position, I would be confident in them being champions in May.

If there were none of these crazy international breaks allowing players to come back from injury, Liverpool could be further ahead right now. But to be factual, City's points tally the last 2 seasons before they went on to win the league is what they're sitting on right now! So unti it's March and 7 points ahead, or Xmas and 12/15 points ahead, there's no way I'm thinking we're winning the league just because of City's form. I think our current way of playing is better now purely to preserve energy and maintain fitness of all players till the end of the season for a sustained challenge in all competitions.

What makes me laugh is that the premier League is undoubtedly one of the best, if not, the best in the world. Why is that? The reason is because every team battles! Liverpool are currently the most informed team in the premier League, and yet they get beaten by Nottingham Forest at home.
