About this game:
Stranded Deep is a survival game that takes place in the Pacific Ocean. The game is procedurally generated, meaning the world is randomly generated each time you play. The game is unforgiving and will punish players who don't know what they're doing.
Following a severe plane crash caused by unknown circumstances, the player wakes up to find that they are the lone survivor of the ordeal. With nothing but their skills and what they can find in the environment, they must survive in the islands of the Pacific.
Throughout their journey, the player will encounter many exotic views, many hazards, and many of the ocean's fauna: lush coral reefs, vast sights, an abundance of fish and marine life, as well as more significant features such as sharks and even whales. Though these sights may capture the awe and attention of the player, they must steer clear of many things; some may poison, while others will outright kill the player.
Survival on the islands will determine whether or not the player has the necessary skills needed to thrive on such a vast but empty environment. The player will need to keep themselves satiated on food and water in order to prevent them from starving. Crafting also becomes a key skill when surviving, as different tools are needed for different purposes. axes and hammers can be used for building. Shelters can be erected to decorate any island, and crude vehicles can be crafted to aid the player in travel.
Along with using the available resources found on land, the player may also choose to explore the waters in search of supplies left behind by past explorations. The leftover remnants of ancient ships and crashed planes and their cargo can be discovered strewn around the islands. Players are able to use these supplies to aid them in their survival, and may also possibly increase their chances of a rescue. However, exploring all waters comes with a risk, as deadly marine life can be found dwelling the waters around them, putting the player in danger.

When you sleep, you wake up hungry ! Chop logs, with ax, for 4 sticks. Chop coconut for drink then food. Too much coconut milk gives you the shits. Tap "c" not hold "c" for extended menu.

the first island -ie the one you're closest to at start of game is the starter island to teach you how to play it is also the only safe island with no big crabs, nasty poisonous snakes and crazy wild pigs. as you progess your skills with get better so killing stuff is faster cutting trees and stuff will take less hits always build a shelter, fire and water still on each new island i kept hoping for you to hit the yucca trees to find out you get the lashing materials so funny seeing you try to figure things out its so easy once you get used to it, ive got saves where ive been there 200 days just having fun building huge houses

I laughed through this whole video! I didn’t make most of these mistakes ONLY because I watched others play this before I did. I’m sure if I played it without knowing much about it I would have died day 1 the first few play throughs! Be sure to make a water still, and know that you don’t need palm fronds to put under it, you can use fibrous leaves too. You can use them instead of sticks for the fire too. I won’t give too much advice, in my opinion, it’s more satisfying to learn things on your own in games then be told things.

Look for yucca plant. it gives you 6 fibrous leaves. respawns every 2/3 days. tap or hold "c" for craft menue.

Survival = 1st: Fishing spear, 2nd: Water Still, 3rd: Camp fire. After that everything gets handed to you. If you have uncooked meat in your inventory, and put cooked in to it, then you just have more uncooked meat.

Ive just noticed that you have a whole series and you have Subnautica too, Im subbed! Um, the starting island has more than you realise but I guess you know that by now! 😂 The starter island has less than some others but that can be a good thing, the only wildlife is crabs, gulls and bats! Tools have durability, your axe probably ran out of uses and you cannot fix them, use them wisely ie cut down the biggest trees, they take the same amount of hits to bring it down as a small tree. The meat will “ding” when it’s cooked like an egg timer and its name will change to “cooked meat”! For the love of Mike, make a water still! Survival 101 is shelter, fire and water! Ignore the stupid tutorial and go with your own common sense!

I tried to play this game but it felt unpolished and buggy... did you ever see a shark swim through sand? 😂

Yeah so buggy. I can’t remember which video, but I’ve seen a shark disappear in sand and I’ve also seen a hog fly lol. I also killed a hog then watched it roll away on the spears I killed it with into the ocean
