I have been using Redmi y3 since 21/12/2019. In July month 2022 I noticed smell getting from mobile it is a type of chemical. Battery has became swollen Then I did replaced a new battery. Still working! After replacing the battery I follow some tips: Charging mobile 20% to 80%. Kept charging in ventilated area. Avoid using in direct sunlight. Perform the factory data reset every 6 months.
