It depends what you're looking for. Most solar generators can power air conditioning units, but the batteries don't last very long. Example: the bluetti AP200 last 6.5 hours with a 5000btu unit and 600 watts of solar that I couldn't hook up properly. The set back: aside from the solar panels not daisy chaining properly, is the ap200 is hella heavy to lug around for me. The ap200 is about 50 or 60lbs if I'm not mistaken. Now, I have a 2500btu unit by xero breeze. The xero breeze will NOT cool a space (it's not advertised to do so), but it does cool me, and that's enough. I haven't tested out how long the xero breeze would last, but I want to. I'll be tinkering with this for a while.

Great video! I recently did a test pairing my Bluetti EB70S with my 30 qt/28 L 12 volt fridge. Starting the fridge at 72 degrees and empty on eco mode I would expect better numbers if I started the test at a lower temp with the fridge at least half full), I powered it to my Bluetti in DC for 71 1.2 hours with an average temperature of 30 degrees. Note: the Bluetti showed only one bar (20% or less) after the first 24 hours but continued to work at presumably less than 20% for two days. This lack of precision/accuracy on the Bluetti is pretty much the only complaint I have with the Bluetti. It is an absolutely workhorse!

Hey Timmy, do you know Webasto has models that'll heat up, not only drinking water which I don't believe you have in your tiny house, but it'll also heat up your trucks coolant. I think that would be very useful to you up there in Alaska during those cold winters. They'll also use the engine coolant to heat the living quarters while your driving. That would be really nice! You would need to install some shut off valves and quick connect couplers for when you take the house off but I think the benefits would be worth it!

Very accurate with my Bluetti EB70 and Setpower refrigerator test. However notes to take: My test was indoors in about 55-60°F, Setpower refrigerator was programmed to 25°F, Bluetti EB70 lasted about 19.5 hours (& ~23 hours when programmed to 32°F in same 55-60°F shaded room indoors), and the 2 bottles of water were liquid when put in and did not even approach any freezing in this Setpower (despite 1 being placed on top and 1 being placed on bottom).

On eco mode it still freezes but battery will last twice as long. I have a vl45 iceco and a jackery 500 and using as a fridge jackey will last 4 days on eco mode , but i have a solar panel 60 watt , so fridge on eco mode only uses 21 watts , so connected to solar panel the fridge will run forever . Because jackery solar panel puts out about 45 watts so half the power charges battery in jackery and the other half runs the fridge , so yea indefinite fridge will never run out..

Thank you! I’ve been holding out for the bluetti, as the Jackery from my understanding does not have pass-through charging (can charge while powering devices), which to me is just a battery bank and not a true power station IMHO. And from my research the Bluetti also charges much quicker. Which is another ding against Jackery, if it takes longer to fully charge, and there is no pass-through capability. 🤷🏻‍♂️ **EDIT: I stand corrected. All Jackery’s, except their explorer 160 model allow for pass-through… The issue between Bluetti and Jackery is more the time it takes to recharge. Bluetti, recharges quicker. Sorry for the initial misinformation. 🙏🏼⚡️🤙🏼 Thanks, Timmy! Love the teal eb70, too! 😎🤙🏼

You might consider the Pecron E600LFP. 1200w, 614wh. It does pass through charging and charges 0-100% in 2.5 hours, AC. Also takes 400w solar charging. Currently $350 from Pecron. Review have been great on this unit.

Thanks man. This was great. Now all you need to do is do it again except plug in a 200 watt solar panel and use the fridge and freezer at a normal use temp. Then we can see if the panel will keep it going and charge it enough to where the battery doesn’t die and the fridge stays functioning. That would be awesome! Thanks. I have a 55 fridge freezer and the eb70 with 200 watt panel coming as well as a max fan and other things to charge. I would live the information. 😎💪🏼

I was interested in your review but a real situation test would be of more value. I have a comparable battery supply, Pecron 1200w 614wh LFP system. I am waiting on a SetPower 58qt fridge/freezer to arrive that will mostly be used in a power out situation to transfer food from our house unit. In order to protect the food as well as running the unit as long as possible I expect the freezer will be set to 15 degrees and the fridge 39 degrees. It will be powered by the Pecron’s 12v outlet. I expect this is about as best case as to give me the longest runtime.

NEED HELP WITH A POSSIBLE BLUETTI SHUNT ISSUE PLEASE? I have a Bluetti EB70. Mine has been running a 3.1 cubic ft AC dorm fridge for 13 hours and is showing 20% remaining but my watt meter is showing the device has used less than 300 watt hours of its capacity which is what the math was showing in tests before I got the watt meter. I haven`t ran it during the five tests until it shut down on its own though but am doing so this time just in case the shunt isn`t calibrated. I was only running it until the 20% remaining indicator vanished and a red charge warning began flashing. The company asked me to perform this test before we explore replacement options. If this is a shunt issue what can I do to reset this thing? Does anyone know?
@barcodenut

@@barcodenut Well I have an AC fridge and freezer. It powers them both for over 24 hours. Not both of them together, but it will run either of them over 24 hours in tests I`ve done but the watt meter I`m using shows it only uses about 300 watt hours to run them that long.

@@barcodenut In a test I`m doing right now with a 5 cubic ft freezer it has ran it for 26 hours. All the bars are gone...100,80,60,40,20....none are showing...and a little red charge warning thing is on the screen. A watt meter shows it`s used 350 watt hours from the battery. But it`s still going. Bluetti emailed me and they`re sending me one that works and letting me keep this one. I can still get a lot of use from it. Better than dumping it in a landfill. They wanted me to go to a USP store and return it. I`m in a very rural area, and I`m disabled and can`t drive, and the nearest city is a two hour round trip drive so I refused.
