How long does it take to do the HGN correctly?

Is it possible to do the Hgn and vgn in a total for 24 seconds (for the both) I watched your video and it seems that 24 seconds is not nearly enough time… maximum deviation was never held for more then 2 seconds. (And 2 seconds is Being generous)

I'm pretty sure the NHTSA guidelines only require the maximum deviation test to be done once for each eye...which would only be sixteen seconds, right?
