Meth does the most damage of all the drugs, but recovery is still very possible. Everyone’s timeline is different. This is my experience with recovery from methamphetamine.

Hey I just wanted to say that I'm very proud of you, for even trying, let alone overcoming your addiction. the only drugs I've had experience with is marijuana and psychedelics so I've never done any pills or other uppers and I just wanted to say that your beauty shows even through all of this you are stunning and it made me realize that even people who do drugs like this and then overcome it's almost a certain art the before and after of just how you appear to others and yourself it's a bigger rush than the meth. That happiness that I'm sure you experience every single day when you wake up and you realize that aren't focused on the next high anymore and now focused on yourself and your future, I'm so proud of you. You are a stunning young woman and you will go very far in life as long as you put your mind to it I appreciate you for posting this to inform others of the dangerous of methamphetamine because that drug, excuse my language, but it's so fucked. I know this message might sound a little weird from a stranger but I am not even 18 yet my brain isn't fully developed, but i don't need a fully developed brain to know you overcame one of the most difficult things and it's inspiring to me that even someone who was addicted to meth could overcome it and it makes me think any normal life challenge will be cake compared to something like that so I thank you and have a wonderful morning, evening, or goodnight. P.S. Half of these shitty comments are from people I'm sure who aren't informed neither tried the substance they have so right to speak on your accomplishment negatively. ❤❤❤

I can reallly relate to what you said about sleep being so important. I worked the night shift for a year and a half a couple years ago and during that time most days I was unable to sleep for more than 3 hours. Even though I needed sleep so bad I kept waking up. I've always been somebody that needed a lot of sleep (like between 7 to 8 hours a night) and near the end it started to have a really negative impact on me. It's really inspiring to hear you talk about having such a healthy lifestyle now. Even working out 4 to 5 times a week, it really shows :) Much love from Belgium!

Hey Emma Thank you for your courage integrity and genuine heart. This vid is a gift to both you and others somewhere in the addiction process. I work in MH at times with people at different stages of the meth use cycle and your insight is really informative and useful for me. I've only done meth one time and it was so good, I decided that was a slippery slope. However I've also lots of experience with deliberate sleep deprivation so good to know some of that experience can inform future empathy and understanding. You''re doing such an amazing job...Enjoy the beauty x

Post Addiction Withdrawal Syndrome(PAWS)can last 2 years for many living with it. I was always drawn to Opiods, but speed(Methamphetamine, not crystal meth)was the first drug that I injected. I wish you all the best in life and sobriety!

Crystal meth is just meth. You can melt those crystals down and you still have the meth you started with. They aren't different

Speed and Crystal Meth are two different drugs. There may be some chemical similarities, but the effects are different. Dramatically different.

Meth does more than just block dopamine reuptake. It changes the direction which dopamine flows and floods the synapses with dopamine. MDMA does something similar but with both dopamine and serotonin

2. Never ever have I ever experience anything like this. It what the feeling I felt that scared me. I felt like all the joy, happiness, hope , etc ripped out of me. It felt like the desire to live just vanished. I'm lucky that someone watches from above and helped to turn on the light quickly. It would be nice if we could speak. I think would help ya, help me (help us). After that incident. It didn't stop there, it was horrible but I never saw the same thing again. I feel that God led me to this video for a reason too. 2 people from 2 different parts of the world experiencing the same thing. Yea. Anyways please reply and I hope ya have been well. Would it be ok for ya to chat through email or would ya rather another platform. Till now instill feel s lot of unease about it. Thanks for taking the time to read. God Bless

Never... nothing is the same. Nictone... Alcohol... Sex... nothing satisfies... No problem with sleep... but I sleep intermittently all day with lucid dreams.

Congrats, mephedrone was a bastard, uk party drug, 33 now but was on it from 18 to 21, constantly, scary reality, nobody should feel that good lol But it’s over now, opiods tho. Stuck on kratom, ended up on oxy, got off it 4 years ago, but still on decline from kratom thanks to help from a clinic. I live a great successful life, so there is no need for me to be on drugs.

The material successes in life often have very little bearing upon how we feel about ourselves. Drug seeking us driven by tge desire to escape emotional pain the vast majority of the time. Address your emotional well-being and it will drastically improve your journey of sobriety.

insane for someone who takes something so aboslutely damaging to the body and brain would think they get to feel how they did before taking it. That's like drinking a sip of hydrochloric acid everyday and asking when your vocal chords will go back to normal after stopping.

If you can't get back to your baseline, what is being sober worth?

@williamallen7836 because it's better than literally dying and spending all your money on meth? If it was all cool and you could just go back to normal after they wouldn't try to drill it into kids heads not to ever do meth now would they 🤦‍♂️

Lol yep I am sure. I do have ADHD and fidget a lot, always have. But I made a conscious decision to leave behind any and all mind and mood altering substances 13 months. Also it is really damn obvious when I’m using. I fall off the face of the earth and turn into a zombie Skelton with concaved eyes
