Carl has a mod called dine out reloaded and it lets you do things like play as the chef/wait staff/host and fixes a LOT of dine outs issues! it also allows for growing your own produce to use in the restaurant! its a much more enjoyable experience with the mod!

Yeah 3-5 episode Let's Plays is a great idea. Single episodes leave me wanting more if they're entertaining but massive series with hour long videos are usually too much even if I enjoy the player.

I'm surprised you don't know about the Dine Out reloaded mod. I watch James Turner use it and he absolutely loves it. I would give that a shot. You can do so much with it. I only wish I had my computer to try it out on. I'm probably one of only people that actually loves Dine Out lol

Fun let's play! Yes, Dine Out is still buggy as hell. BTW the chef doesn't enter the kitchen before the first order isn't noted by the waiters

This is nice because I just got done out as part of a bundle purchase and they still won't let you add wedding stories as part of the bundle. So I had to go with dine out, and now you post this 💕💕

Honestly, probably a beneficial restriction since wedding stories is still pretty badly bugged (in a sometimes non-functional way still). And, if you're fine using mods, there's Carl's Dine Out mod, which makes the restaurant system(s) work WAY better, and makes restaurants genuinely really fun

You need to check out Carl's Dine Out Reloaded Mod. Then you can be the chef. If you watch James Turner or Dr. Gluon they are doing this right now as a rags to riches.

I love that idea! I was gonna say it would probably take a bit longer, but then I remembered mc command and that you can just cheat to have the babies almost instantly, and always have triplets so the wife could just give birth and move out, leaving the dad(s) with 3 infants at a time. And we all know Karla loves to cheat lol

I know quite a few people already commented about it, but Karla PLEASE look into Carl's Dineout Reloaded Mod! It's so much fun! You can play as the host, as the chef, as the waiter - or just use it so that you don't need hosts or waiters anymore, so people seat themselves and get their meals themselves. Good for fastfood restaurant in other playthroughs!

When I want to pretend my sim is chef I build a functional kitchen in the restaurant and then have them make food. That food then goes to the sims who have been waiting a long time. They might not eat it but it's fun for me.

There is a mod by Carl that allows you to play as Chef, Waitress and Hostess or all 3 if you wish, you can have customers seat themselves and even get up and grab their own food. I think you will LOVE it! James Turner is doing a series using it (still ongoing)

Still bugging: there's always one or two.customers who won't leave at the end of the shift and won't order either. The waiters are ignoring them as well. Another thing is that I always get the feedback that the service should use a bit more of a personal touch... even when my Sim is talking to everyone all the time... no.idea how to change that

Thanks for the comment, I wasn't aware of this as it's used as a normal name in the UK, But after understanding via the comments that it holds a different meaning in the US I will make sure the name is removed from future videos for this storyline and I've taken out parts of this video that mention the name, although it can take a few hours for edited videos to reflect that on youtube.
