What's most impressive is that from the time he actually sets the club down behind the ball until he pulls the trigger and hits the ball is a fraction of a second. The club hits the ground at 12, turning to 13, and then the ball is gone.
@IndyJones312 күн бұрын
Not sure how some other pros time out by comparison but I definitely associate Aberg as a well-paced player. Just from watching the Tour. There’s others that settle over the ball and you know there’s time to play on your phone until they hit.

I actually moved away from doing a practice swing and instead doing a few reps of a “drill” to feel my current swing thought. It’s actually helped a lot because it’s more directed at what I need to do right instead of just a mindless rip. For example I’ll step up, then take it tothe top and exaggerate pumping down beneath plane then just step up for full swing. Then I have a feel for what corrects me biggest fault and I don’t worry about over the top as much at address

That very standard for a scratch or better golfer and it shouldn’t be an issue as long as the results are pro quality now if they slicing and topping it with the same routine people are going to bark for sure
@lynklynks72463 күн бұрын
lol really? So you have to be scratch to take 13 seconds? That is perfectly acceptable for any handicap as far as I'm concerned. Take the timer away and just watch what he does. It's not excessive at all, imho, and this is coming from someone who HATES slow play and would happily play sub 3 hour rounds every time if I could...
