How long should my cbg neck be?

I’ve made this video in response to a phone call I received from a beginner cigar box guitar builder. I decided to create this video to share my ideas of how scale length and box length work together to determine how long your cigar box next should or could be.

great video. I like the template / jig idea. Even though I'm still at the hobby level I want to make them as consistent and quickly as possible. I'm going to start making some jigs for the reparative stuff. I don't like to glue my fret boards on until I've fit it to whatever box.

Cool vid, Justin got me hooked but over 20 years ago I decided to make a cigar box guitar and I quit. Recently my mom gave me that old box back and guess what, I'm finally doing it. It's a fretless slider.
