Tough session, but thank you for sharing the ups and downs... not just the ups. And yeah, downtown's tight lately. On the rockets game, my husband has hit the red/double up Major twice in the regular game - last year at the Bellagio and this year on an MSC cruise. So it's possible, but super rare.

I hit my first hand pay at the Golden Nugget years ago....we were are Ballys for the world series of poker and it was......awesome....that's when my love for slots was tapped in....l9ve your podcast.

I think The Golden Nugget is one of those casinos that is harder to make a profit at to be honest. I have watched slot players on KZbin for years and I can't think of one that had a video of them winning a handpay at The Golden Nugget and I've been to the one in Atlantic City a few times and also didn't do well. I'd just ban visits to this one.

Actually that's not true. Downtown has a very tiny edge

About 10 minutes. These videos are all edited so it looks like they played and won more often than they actually did. Slots are a fast way to lose your money

They mean for the person who comes to Vegas with that budget once a year, it’d be upsetting to be wiped out so fast. Ruby does this as a job. The videos make income to keep feeding the machines. They’re used to the losses, someone on vacation isn’t.
