Dude, this is so complex it fried my brain.

I agree with the group of 1000 taking longer, but with the original question, It depends on how much is considered "all the information to build it" Does it give them locations of ore deposits, all relevant machinery designs, exact steps of the forgeling down to each hammer swing, etc, Or just the IPhone blueprints and methods to construct each piece. Group 1 I could see doing it in

I think of this a lot, it’s incredible how complex stuff that may look very simple is in reality extremely complex. Also love the baby juni plush at 10:56.

I've been thinking for a while about how humans became so technologically advanced in such a short time since the industrial age. This video is very cool.

Idk say it'd take you up to today lol Amd I'm not into watching game play but if you made some videos like this every once and awhile I'd DEFINITELY come back to watch.. you got a good personality and good jokes lol that E-boy killed me😂 (Note I'm not trying to change you, make the content you like homie!) But this was a good video

I do want to keep my content a bit diversified so even though these types of videos don’t get quite the same traction, I’ll probably keep making them every once in a while just cuz it’s fun

Great video, love how varied the content is from this channel as it's always time for a chill tangent when Haedal posts. Also 20 engineers would be faster for sure; I'd estimate around 80 years of non-stop work or longer due to resource scarcity if I'm just spitballing.

I'd say roughly 3000 to 5000 years. That's the time I think it would take for civilization to get where we are now, with the help of the immortal engineers' knowledge.

Quite interesting experiment that touches a lot of different valuable topics. And I feel like if I go down for every each one of them, I will end up with the script of the same length that you used to create this video. ... It will be much more lengthy, right?.. Anyway, sometimes I just like to appreciate and remind myself (and others) that medical science and knowledge alone is the primary reason why I'm here alive and writing this comment right know. Without it, with a high probability I would just die before reaching mature age. Or even better - not being even born, because my parents (or their parents (or their parents (or.. well, you know the rest))) would probably be just dead without all that baggage of medical knowledge and healthcare that humankind has accumulated throughout millennials. Yet, we are here, still alive, at least for a some time. And thus - *Civilight Eterna*

I agree that it would take longer for the 1000 engs. I thought about this in the past but in context of cpu. Its crazy that were making dna width sized tranzistors.

It took about 5k years from the end of the stone age to the random, natural development of the iPhone, No way it would take a team of immortal dedicated engineers who know exactly how to build it from start even 20x that long

I disagree. I think the 1000 engineers would make an iphone MUCH faster. Assuming they need to eat, sleep, exercise and have a bit of leisure to stay healthy. Also let's assume they have to get their own food. With this scenario the 1000 engineers can split and focus on making labor saving devices and yes domestication of animals. In the early part, the labor in required to not die of the elements, animals, hunger and disease would be so enormous that I don't think 20 engineers, if eternal youth would be able to make an iphone in less than 1000 years. Please think on this. How long would it take to wash and dry all your clothes by hand? 6 hours? Now with a washer and dryer? 2 hours? But with the machines running you can go do something else. The group of 1000 can specialize to a great degree allowing increased efficiency over time and bringing labor saving devices much faster. They might also just work their way to cloning to get even more people to help out. If they are very smart and strategic about it, with eternal youth, then the group of 1000 might be able to make an iphone in 400 years. The group of 20 would starve, dehydrate and die in 3 days. LOL ;-) Edit: I took this way too seriously.

I have a feeling that it will take 5 - 10 years because of material acquisition and machinery building. (That is if they know exactly where to acquire the raw materials ) The reason why it'll t ake them a relatively short time is because they'll be skipping RND.
