I made up my mind to eat right, take long vigorous walks and do isometric exercises. We must control the things we can and let go of the things we can't. Live each day determined to be the best we can be. Live simple! Be quiet! Be thankful! My best to all!

My friend was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma during August 2021, chemo therapy started by August end, after 6 cycles of chemotherapy, he completed all his treatments and now complete remission.. We all are mentally ok. All these can be possible mainly through three things, 1) correct diagnosis and right choice of medicine for chemotherapy (Thanks to his doctor) 2) We should should not compromise the diat for the patient (Those who look after the patient) 3) Pray to almighty for fast recovery.

I had stage 3a melanoma in 2018 and closely monitored. All was good. Then one of my nodes started growing in August 2021. In September 2021, I Had a biopsy, no melanoma, but the presence of abnormal B cells. Now I just had those suspicious nodes removed this week and awaiting the results and upcoming appointment with hematologist oncologist on Jan 6th. So I dont know what’s in store for me yet.

@InsightlyDigest2 жыл бұрын
@@randomdude1053 they found more melanoma and now I am on Optivo immunotherapy once a month for a year. Today I go for my 4th treatment. No side effects so far except some rashes. My CT scan in June looked ok. Feeling ok! In regards to the B cell, I just met with that oncologist last week and they will just monitor me for that every 6 months. Thank you for asking.
@gencolns6325 Жыл бұрын
How are you doing
@InsightlyDigest Жыл бұрын
@@gencolns6325 thanks for asking. So far so good. CT scans and MRIs good. I have my 8th out of 12 treatments next week for Optivo. Side effects: body soreness and nausea. But the biggest side effect has been on my adrenal glands (for adrenaline and cortisol) that no longer work. (Confirmed through tests after fainting and going into the hospital). Opidivo will attack the pituitary gland which controls the adrenal glands, but according to my MRI, my pituitary gland is fine. And a (ICTH?) test has ruled out anything else. I now must stay on hydrocortisone for life, and it can be life threatening if I don’t take it or various other reasons. But other than that… I’m still OK and going along ok! Sorry it’s drawn out. I made a few KZbin videos on my progress and explaining this. Thanks again. Sorry it’s so long
