Such a great discography. Especially if you actually listened to him from the beginning. Each album is crazy because it's like he's maturing whether in a good or bad way and you're along for the ride. You literally are growing up and going through life with Mac's music. Nobody ever mentions him when they talk top 5s, album of the year, influences, or any of that, but when he died everyone was devastated more so than other deaths in the rap game because it was like a friend dying and one with such talent and a beautiful soul at that. RIP MAC MILLER 🙏

I’m pretty sure his brother Miller is in full control of his estate and he’s doing a fantastic fucking job. Fun fact about Miller McCormick that a lot of people don’t know, he’s the artist behind a lot of the album covers. I’d love to see him on a podcast talking about the process of those covers and stories we’ve never heard. It’d be a dope series. Most dope if you will.

In addition to this I do have to say as a lil peep fan his mom does an amazing job releasing only music he had completely finished or previously released. She has released all of his mixtapes and EPs that he had completed most recently being releasing lil peep part one this year as well as a bunch of completed singles he had. She hasn’t put out a bunch of songs with features from people never meant to be on it. It makes me super happy to see really does an amazing job keeping his legacy alive. I wish more artist’s estates could approach posthumous releases like this.

i absolutely hate how they handled Big Pun's posthumous release. 'Yeeeah Baby' sounds so damn unpolished, and Pun sounds like he's 10 feet away from the mic on every song. My favorite moment from the album isn't even from Pun, and I'm the biggest Pun glazer to ever exist. They could've just kept the gem that is 'Capital Punishment' without releasing that half-assed album only 2 months after he passed. At least 'Endangered Species' wasn't that horrible, but it was a compilation album.
