First time. wow. wish i could go back to the first time i heard Mac. I was so in awe at his ability to effortlessly convey life's ups and downs in a way that was so relatable. I recommend checking out his Old stuff, but also cirecles. It's like he's speaking from the grave with an understanding of what's to come and telling us all there's something better than where we are now. 🖤

I’ve heard mac millers music years ago, this is my first time hearing this song, i appreciate the soulfulness of the last joint, and the theme of it. The level of self awareness and lyrical talent working in tandem is awe-inspiring. So much modern music is lacking in this department.

In January of 2018 I went to buy a GO:OD AM CD from my mall. There I was recruited by the United States Marines. I shipped in June of 2018 to boot camp and graduated on September 7, 2018. The whole time I would constantly joke saying Mac Miller was the reason I joined, once I heard the news on graduation day of boot camp my heart broke. Several months later my brother who introduced me to Mac Miller when I was young passed away due to drug overdose. Him and Mac Miller always looked identical to me, so it hurt me in several ways. Almost 7 years later it’s been the best worst times of my life. I come back to this every week. Thank you for setting me on the path of my life, Mac Miller. RIP TO THE GOAT

IDK, I thought back initially how this was the first posted concert after the inertia freestyle. I swear it was why I thought even by accident he would never kill himself, I mean he was talking about hiring otr string instruments and the dread head being on tour w him. But now how when I think about my impression of the overall album after he died, it's almost tongue to cheek how obvious he was trolling he needed help. And I can't tell you about my gut and all this makes Mr feel 😕

The weirdest thing is being older now than he ever got to be. When he died I was 23. When KIDS came out I was in high school. It was like he was our older brother. I started listening to Mac miller in 2011 about a week before my 11th birthday. My brother put me on to his music. I’m now 24 and my love and admiration for Mac and his talents have only grown. I could feel his genuine and positive energy then, and I still can now, but as I’ve gotten older I can hear the pain hidden inside of his music. How can someone go through so much inside of their own head and still be a positive influence for people theyve never met? To me, that’s what makes Mac so special. I’ll continue to keep his music alive until I no longer am.

I've listened to Balloonerism about 9 or 10 times now. Had to come back to this. Miss you Mac, this new album is something special. Hope you're holding a show for the new album up there!

i've been hitting thundercat after finding mac during quarantine. i didn't know they were involved together.... sick.

@@alexcheskie9446 They had some amazing connection. Thundercat actually interrupted his European tour to fly to NY to see Mac and play this one song. He headed out right after the concert. I was a Thundercat fan first, and I didn't realize how close they were. I mean, Thundercat was the last person Mac ever spoke to. The night he died they had just talked. Heartbreaking. But Mac lives on in Thundercat's music and in his heart. All our hearts.
