Hello Akash sir. Even though MP is out bimaru category but still apart from agriculture, industrial development is not happening at a pace which it should be. Yes , Indore and Bhopal belt are getting some investment now but eastern side is still not that much developed. Mohan Yadav , our new pm kinda be in favor of industrial development so let's hope for the best. One thing about MP is that even though there are issues of law and order persist, it's still better then UP and Bihar.

I'm From A Small city "Rewa" And I want to tell you that in the last 10 years, 5 big flyovers, four lane highway, super specialty hospital, airport, big railway station and many such big projects came in my city due to which Rewa today is much better in terms of development than many tier 2 cities of India and we also have the largest solar plant in Asia.

It would be bit unfair to categorise UP as a bimaru state. Even though I agree the criticism is valid. The population of Uttar Pradesh is around 25 crore, Double the that of Maharashtra. The Western side of UP is quite developed and doing great erstwhile the eastern side i.e Purvanchal is not doing that great. though I am seeing developments factories industrial corridors coming towards that side also and I'm hopeful by 2030 a lot would have changed. So , we now know Up is is moving in correct direction I fear about Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh more. Nowadays you listen to news about Bihar too but not about these two States hope the state governments take a cognizance of the issue.

One reason i think Bihar,UP, MP, etc. poorer states struggle is that people seem to have unrealistic expectations. It takes decades for any society to develop economically, you need a lot of hard work on a large number of small but detail oriented things like primary/secondary/vocational/technical education and healthcare , local governance with proper training for different levels and people to actually be able to absorb that training, consistent investment friendly policy making and problem solving mindset etc. Each of those things is easy to say but very hard to implement. It takes decades. When literacy rate was just 60% in MP in1990 {just going by the video} even today it is not 80%, it is silly to expect you can get quality services at population scale. You need to keep slowly improving things over decades, then over time society will become much better. Have patience and work hard. PS : Once upon a time AP and Tamil Nadu were struggling too. But slowly over time things change. Education, governance and getting investments should be focus for the north indian states for next two decades. Ofcourse being land locked brings greater challenges for the economy, but as infrastructure improves it should get better. Just my thoughts as south indian who has lived in north sometimes.

Honest reality of Madhyapradesh is that it's a most stable state in North with only BJP, INC in the game. But despite of this, MP's condition is bad. Police is corrupt, government schools, hospitals and colleges are in Bihar like situation. Majority tax collected from East MP goes to development of Indore-Bhopal. Their is no one to complain. Being BJP's bastion, everything is controlled through Delhi and local BJP workers. CM and ministers have same position like governor.

i am from tier 4 town near (chattarpur district) and belive me we used mock how every bridge was under construction 5-7 years ago and now mp has one of the most functional transportation along with education my family has a long history in education sector and we have noticed changes introduction of cm rise school -- whoever scores above 75% in 12 gets 25k +15k worth tablet these policies has played significant role but some needs to criticized such as laadli behna - it was a pure political scheme to woo female voters along with the vyapam as well , i do not support Shivraj jii but he has done significant work
