@@viniciusduran1922 yeah there's nothing actually stopping him, it's only his conscience and good nature. 😂 Also this is a spoiler for arc 5, But he couldn't kill Regulus' without Subaru's knowledge, and he couldn't have done it with zero casualties without Emilia's suspended animation technique. 😎

In a Sid Story Echidna uses a magic called "Al Shario" and it's crazy. She can brought the star down with hight speed and massacre her oponets. She used that to destroy a army of aroud 100 silver dragons. Emilia in Arc 6 is monster, you'll see. Emilia's power below: . . . . . . . . . . . . She can freeze time for some seconds, yes she can litary stop the flow of time. This still a new ability so it's something she's still need to improve. She can also make Ice soldiers who can fight independently.

yes. and thats is only because no one researched that spell and developed how to manipulate the distance of the dimension in which you send a target nor the dimension of the spell itself. when someone cast it the dimension is random and the size can extend to swallow a whole city

The personalities aren’t exactly a result of their authority. It’s a two way street. The best example just so happens to be an ability we don’t know the actual nature of, but Echidna calls it Satella’s authority, and Roswaal calls it Subaru’s authority (an I personally think it’s a mix of both). That’s right, I’m talking about Return by Death. So obviously, assuming the exact manifistation of Return by Death happened due to Subaru’s desire to save ”Satella” aka Emilia (assuming it isn’t just Satella’s own authority doing all the hard work), he would find himself relying on it more and more. The more he accepts that the pain is just a part of the process, the more he finds himself being willing to use it, and that leads to him losing more and more of his sanity, which leads to him using it more. Basically, Minerva was right when she pointed out that Subaru also thinks like a witch, because he was at a crossroad at that point. Basically, will he lose his sanity and become what Roswaal wants him to become, or will he keep his sanity at the cost of upping the difficulty of the task. Obviously, Subaru loses his sanity in multiple if routes, and in all of them, he operates under simular witch logic as the witches or sin archbishops. So yeah, it’s not that witch factors usually choose sane people that turn insane due to them, bu5 rather, 5hey usually pick people who are already insane, but their authorities just amplifies their insanity. Subaru truly is the outlier out of all witch factor holders we’ve seen so far in how he both started of with sanity, and keeps holding out to that sanity for quite a long time.

To be honest, Minerva wasn’t being fair to Subaru’s circumstances of overusing RBD considering practically none of the deaths in S2 were his fault, sure he could’ve asked for help from the start but the witches miasma (which was given to him involuntarily) only stopped him from progressing further due to the suspicion it arouses.

@@ricksanchez6766 Of course Minerva isn’t being fair, she’s using witch logic to as thelense to judge him through. The point is that any normal person wouldn’t have the mindset that Subaru has in arc 4 (if they didn’t have return by death as well), just like Minerva wouldn’t have the mindset to go arouns punching people to heal them if it weren’t for her authority. The consequences of overusing RbD are very severe (not only for Subaru himself but also those around him), just like the consequences of overusing Minerva’s authority are severe (although at least RbD doesn’t cause Earthquakes). I’m just saying that the mental state begins to look more like the witches the more he relies on RbD.

Emila is like top 5 strongest mages so far in the series she also possess Pretty strong hand to hand combat what makes her stay in top 5 is her sanity and self-control, once she's pissed everyone's fucked and I mean everyone

Yes that's why in season 1 when Subaru ask her if there's anything she can do to fight off Elsa, she said she has a trump card but she wouldn't use it. Because if she do, only she we'll remain standing. Lol

One thing he failed to mention is how strong swordsmen do the power jumps and shit. Basically, they manipulate mana within their own bodies in very specific ways at very specific times to get a power boost. One thing they don’t often talk about in the main story (I got this from Tappei’s Q&A’s) is that Reinhard’s gate has a birth defect. There are two kind of common gate defects. One of them is when the gate doesn’t take in enough mana to the body. This usually results in people failing to grow properly, and those born with this usually die young. The other common defect is the opposite, when the body takes in more mana than it releases. The latter one is what Reinhard has, and it means that his bidy builds up mana over time. Usually, the second kind would kill the user due to mana poisoning, but instead, Reinhard can use said extra mana to strengthen his body cause he’s built different (he probably has a divine protection to deal with that issue, too. Oh btw, if you have a completly broken gate, you essentially get a version of the second defect, since the users od keeps releasing more and more mana, and since the gate is broken, it can’t release said mana from the body. The only way to not die from that is to have someone suck out your mana.

@@TheReaIestOne While this is mentioned at the end of arc 4 in the wn, how Subaru deals with his broken gate is also one of the first things they talk about in arc 5 (I think it’s literally in arc 5 chapter 1 iirc), so I just figured I’d avoid talking about it. It isn’t really a spoiler though, given how Beatrice speaks about it in arc 4, so yeah, I’ll go over that too. Since Subaru’s gate is now broken and his Od keeps on generating a minute amount of mana natrually over time, Subaru has to have Beako use mana drain on him, since his gate can’t naturally ’breath out’ the excess mana piling up in his body. Given how Beako is now contracted to Subaru instead of the forbidden library (and Echidna), she quite literally can’t use mana drain on anyone but Subaru, since she used the library as a medium to drain people’s mana previously. So basically, Subaru has too much mana, and if it keeps on building up, he explodes and dies, and Beako needs mana like humans need food, and if she doesn’t get any, she starves and dies. So basically, if they go without each other for too long, they both die, or so they said at least. There are probably ways around these limitations for both of them though(high grade pyroxene crystal, anyone?).

For the record, Al Goa isn't at all Roswaal's strongest spell like claimed. Even Fortuna is able to use spells higher than Al level while Roswaal is able to use higher ones without even an incantation. We really don't know too much about his various different spells but we do know a few stronger. One of those is the spell he used casually in memory snow which was comparable to large-scale nukes. However, another would be the four orbs spell that the author, when asked what his strongest spell was, said it was definitely one of his strongest. Both are light years beyond Al Goa. Also, some spells are just inherently stronger than others. Of the tiered spells (meaning the ones that can be strengthened with El, Ul, and Al) the ranking seems to be Huma < Goa < Dona = Fula < Jiwald (described as a heat ray)

spirits gate and spirits arts are different from regular magic only because their gate are artificial and created after the person they were died(since they reborn as spirit), therefore is subject to different rules. for example, spirits can absorb mana from the atmosphere, a thing that mages cant do. also, creating a contract with a spirit allows the contractor to borrow the spirit mana and gate to use the same magic the spirit knows effortlessy. it even works when your own gate is shattered.

ps: the fact that the normal branch of magic works like described in the video doesnt negate the existence of magic that revolves only on 1 element. for example, Goa is a fire magic spell, but there isnt a water magic spell that actually controls stream of water. Fire magic is a mix of ice and fire properties(control over it, size , shape and so on), water magic is a mix of water and earth magic (since earth magic transfer the regenerative ability of nature to living targets of all things), earth magic is a mix of fire and earth properties (can generate different kind of rocks and manipulates them), wind magic is a mix of wind and light (this attacks are so dense of mana that they should shine but the light properties allow them to be invisible even at high grades of spells), light magic is a mix of ligth and time properties (various buffs), shadow magic is a mix of darkness and time properties (debuffs, mental/material alterations). Combining more spells together can also manifest lightnings.

About the Yang light rays, the spell is called Jiwald, and the incantantion makes the amount of light rays a lot bigger, though the base form is already a beam of light that destroys everything in its path lol. You'll see more users in the next arcs and there's one on the Ex novel 2, though you'd better see that yourself cause, you know, spoilers.

Reinhard doesn't need to use magic. And he was rejected by all six elements. So yeah he can't use magic. But it's like saying he can't accept healing spells. I mean, yeah it's something he can't do but it's not really a bad thing.😂
