The entire process, even the style and tone of your marketing emails, screams "all about the money", and not about the growth of students. I pray that Allah grants you the ability to form a renewed intention and reward you accordingly, and may it not be that your reward of the Hereafter was replaced with your million dollars.

You can be more benefitial to the ummah and work for the sake of Allah in many other ways. Money is neutral, you can spend it on goodness or evil. One advice akhi, I suggest you stop posting about yourself and your story. That is what is burying you the most. The thirst for fame and status and wealth are some of the most dangerous things in islam. Ka’b ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Two hungry wolves, roaming freely among a flock of sheep, are less destructive to them than the greed of a man for wealth and high status are to his religion.” May Allah protect us and guide us
