United beat Leicester 3-1 having finished 19th in a 22 club first division only avoiding relegation a few weeks before the final. The team included Law, Charlton and Crerand and somehow almost got relegated. . The manager was Sir Matt Busby. I’ve no doubt that people were saying he needed to go and wasn’t the same manager after Munich. I don’t need to tell you what happened in the following five years. ETH is a winner. Have faith.

We need 2 cms. Casemiro, Eriksen & possibly Amrabat all departing. Joao Neves (if possible) would be exciting, but we need another. Mats Wieffer looks perfect. Gives us the quarterback qualities similar to Carrick, also with the ability to carry the ball. Has height which is important if our other midfielders are neves, mainoo & bruno. If playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, choose 2 out of Wieffer, Neves & Mainoo behind Bruno. OR midfield 3 of Wieffer, Mainoo & Neves.. bruno as false 9 with Hojlund & Garnacho up top, same formation as the cup final, rock solid through the middle. Those 2 signings should be priority IMO. Followed by a Varane replacement.

You're right. We'll defo get a CB. I think Kerkez would be great at LB, use shaw when hes fit as further CB cover if we can't afford 2. My point is that 1 CM won't cut it either. That's where the game is usually won or lost.

I don't buy this excuse that ten hag has some mythical system he can't implement due to a lack of players. he played an actively bad system for the entirety of the year, and even with better players, the system would still be bad. it's simple, change the system, get more out the players, utilise your players actual strengths and coach. We won't be sucessuful under EtH until he does that.

I'd say De Ligt,Yoro or Brantwaite since Todibo is banned,Hancko(can cover LCB and LB),Amrabat,Ugarte(the DM badly needed),Fofana(very cheap for his ability especially and bolsters both our nr.6 and nr.8 if someone gets injured,Doué(amazing prospect and can play on both wings but he prefers the left so he would strengthen our bench and we'd have a capable replacement for Rashford in case he's injured or not performing),Zirkzee(2nd striker which is essential as it's unrealistic for Højlund to play 90 mins every werk sometimes twice and he offers us a completely different style of play. He's much more of a nr.10 than nr.9 so he could drop deep and play some passes with Bruno between the lines making the oppositions defenders chase him which opens up our wings and we'll have less opposition defenders in the box grestly increasing pur wimgers chances of scorimg goals)

The pressing you were talking about was due to lack of personal I think the wingers coming across is the best idea because you don’t want a free man in the midfield who is capable of splitting our pressing structure. With players like Todibo and braithwaite being talked about we can go man for man in the defence allowing Dalot to press the opposition LB cutting he ball from the goal keeper to the LB. This alone would solve 75% of the problems. Because if manioo and Amrabat or Neves aren’t worried about the defence they could focus on following their man and if Man Utd were good in one thing last season it was winning the ball in the final third. No brainer

No he took the second most shots in the lesgue,the defence was injured all season so we were using players like casemiro at cb which is just crazy,he played with over 30 different cb pairings and still saved the most out of all keepers although he let a few in. This season when we'll have 3-4 top cb's that know to play the same system as Onana was brought in to implement it will be a whole other story

CB basically need a regen Varane LCB need cover for Licha LB Shaw always injured CDM replacement for Casemiro ideally a Rodri type great passer but physically and tactically solid CM replacement for Eriksen as cover for Mainoo. Think Mctominay and Mount are more for Bruno position RW Amad can rotate but we should really replace Antony with a proper world beater ST Need backup for Hojlund. Someone with experience to teach him would be great. Previously we had Cavani someone like that Id give Rashford another year to prove himself even if hes on massive wages and maybe doesnt deserve it. Hes home grown plus its too difficult to do so much activity Id actually also replace Wan bissaka with a better first rotation for dalot. More comfortable on the ball and attacking. AWB doesnt suit the system Doubt majority of this would happen though. Too many transfers 😂

You're spot on with where we need signings and im pretty sure since we now hsve 6 people working over Ten Hag and i especially mean Dan Ashworth who's proving himself to be quite capable! Since he came in we've been making offers for the players we need the most starting with de ligt,ugarte and zirkzee thereby plugging the most immidiate holes but there will be plenty more signings than them. We are also setting a precident with the way we are approaching the Branthwaite negotiiations. 1.st offer was 45 when Everton had applied the man utd tax and are waiting for 70m,then we offered 50(small increase but rejected almost straight away so we just bid on Yoro instead! This has tought clubs we are no longer having to pay 20-30m extra then man shitty or liverpool who just go to other targets if the negotiations aren't agreeable which is very important for us and will save us a huge amount in the long run. I reckon we'll offer everton 55m maybe with 5m in add ons which is a very good offer for a player with 1 season under his belt and if that's not accepted we'll move on. There are plenty other LCB avsilable to cover Martinez in case of injury

Especially since our academy team won the treble last season and Harry Amass has been promoted into the first team(top 3 best player of the group)and in my opinion we should give him a run of games and take a good look at the boy. There's also Toby Collier to look out for cm with loads of potential,apparently ETH's favorite young player and Ethan Wheatley those are the ones that shone last season and we can hope to see something from.
